Jane's Point Of View:

Maura, Ma, Frankie, Tommy, and I were all eating dinner.
"Mm. Maura, that was an amazing meal." I said
"Well, I had the help from the guest of honor. He's a remarkable sous chef." Maura said looking at Tommy.
"Didn't even know what that was till this afternoon." Tommy said
"Tommy, the vegetables are delicious." Ma said
"Ma, he sliced a celery stalk." Frankie said
"I cut the broccoli too." Tommy said and Frankie started clapping his hands sarcastically.
"So when do we see this fabulous apartment of yours?" I asked changing the subject.
"As soon as I have the money to get the lights turned on." Tommy replied
"I told you I'd be happy to co-sign." Maura said
"No." Frankie and I said in unison. They both quickly turned their heads at us.
"No." Tommy said and they both started at each other.
"But if you need help moving in..." I said
"I moved in today. A buddy of mine helped me." Tommy said
"Look at him. My baby's leaving the nest again. And this time, he's on the straight and narrow." Ma said
"Your baby's 32." Frankie said
"Stop it." I said

Maura's Point Of View:

After dinner, Jane was putting Sophia down, and I was doing this dishes. Then I heard the back door open.
"Hey." Tommy said and I turned around and looked at him.
"You're back." I said
"Yeah. We really didn't get a chance to talk. A token of my appreciation." He said handing me a bottle of wine.
"Wow. It's a 1994 Château de Gordes. It's very rare.
"Yeah. Like you." He said. I started leaning in for a kiss, then I stopped him.
"Whoa. I should finish these dishes." I said
"Yeah. Okay. Well, goodnight." He said
"Wait, Tommy." I said before he walked out.
"No, I gotta go anyway. Um, enjoy the wine. You've been so great to me." He said
"Tommy." I said and he walked out the door.

"Sophia's asleep." Jane said walking in.
"Uh, okay." I said
"Is everything okay?"
"Yeah. I need to finish the dishes."
"Where'd you get the wine from?"
"Tommy gave it to me." I said placing it on the counter
"Aw, well that was nice."
"Yeah it was." I said and finished up the dishes. I walked into our room, and Jane was pulling her shirt over her head. I got dresses and crawled in bed next to her. She pulled close to her and held me tight.
"Do you ever wonder where we would be if we didn't have each other?" Jane asked. I turn my body so I was facing her.
"Why?" I asked
"Just thinking."
"I know that if I didn't have you and Sophia, I would never be happy." I said
"I love you."
"I love you too." Jane replied and kissed my nose.

Jane's Point Of View:

The next morning, our phones rang and we had to go to a crime scene. While Maura headed to the crime scene, I took Sophia to school. When I pulled up to the crime scene, it was at a bank.
"What do we got?" I asked as I walked up to Frost.
"Dead bank manager. Three employees witnessed the robbery and the shooting. FBI's talking to them."
"What are you doing out here?"
"FBI has a high opinion of itself and a pretty low one of local law enforcement."
"Well they let Maura and Korsak in."
"To process the body."
"Well, come on the action is inside."
"No, I'll wait out here." He said and so I walked into the bank.

"Excuse me, I'm Jane Rizzoli, homicide. Can you direct me to the agent in charge." I asked a young female FBI agent.
"You're looking at her. Special Agent Anna Farell." She said
"I'm so sorry."
"It's okay. I'm used to it."
"Girl running the task force, gee, it never happened to me." I joked
"Jane." Korsak called
"I've allowed your superior and the medical examiner in while we interview witnesses." Farell said
"Okay, well, it may be your bank robbery, but it's our murder. You can never have too many detectives."
"Actually you can. A neighboring P.D. managed to bungle a similar investigation two weeks ago."
"Yeah, I heard about Cambridge. It's always amateur hour when campus police are involved. Boston's the real deal. You think it's the same crew that did the Cambridge robbery?" I said
"Appears to be. They made off with 30 grand in that robbery. Today they made 100." She replied
"Whys the window shattered?"
"They went out that way. Door in Cambridge had a sensor. It triggered a time-delayed transmitter hidden in the money." She said as we walked to the body.
"What is the delay on the dye pack?"
"Ten seconds. We figured it went off in the get away vehicle."
"Their smarter this time. And more lethal."
"Witnesses say he didn't resist. Didn't try to set off an alarm."
