CL put her headphones on. She loves listening to music - especially GD's recorded songs for her. All this time, she held her feelings for GD.
But I had to leave him.
We're just not meant to be together. She wore her dark sunglasses to hide the sadness in her eyes. Leaving him was her choice but she would have never done that if GD's father did not talk to her. She remembered their conversation...
Four years ago...
"President Park of Park Group of Companies?" she asked the man in front of her. She was walking home from the grocery store when a black limousine stopped in front of her and men wearing black suits asked her to come with them. Then, she was brought to a mansion to meet this man - GD's father.
Of course she knew all about GD's family. He told her everything, even about being a bastard of a famous businessman. But she can't believe Mr. Park knew her.
"Yes. Please sit down." The man confirmed his identity in a stern voice. There was a lot of authority and power in his tone. CL didn't dare have second thoughts. She sat down opposite to Mr. Park.
"You might be wondering why I asked you to come here." He started. CL nodded in silence.
Mr. Park sat on his swivel chair and toyed with his pen.
"I will get straight to the point now, Ms. Lee. I want you to avoid Jiyong."
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me right. I don't want him to get distracted."
CL tried to process the words in her mind again just to be sure she heard him right. He said that she's a distraction to GD. Mr. Park continued.
"I had you investigated. You seem to have come from an average family. Your dad is a professor; your mom is a housewife."
"Is there something wrong about that, sir?" she asked nervously. She's liking this guy lesser every second.
"There's really nothing wrong with your background, except that you are not qualified to become Jiyong's future wife. And more important than that, you are interfering with his studies. I have received his report card and his grades are going down. All because of you." Mr. Park said calmly. CL thought that it was unfair that this man blames her for everything. He seems full of himself when in fact, he's the one with a dark secret.
"I will offer you a large sum of money." Her anger rose as she heard his offer.
"I may not be as rich as you, sir. But I won't give up our friendship just because of your money."
"I knew you'd say that." She was about to leave the room when Mr. Park spoke again.
"I heard there's will be a recession. The impact will greatly affect teachers. Who knows? Maybe you'll need my money soon enough." CL closed the door behind her and felt her knees buckle. GD told her that his dad is strict. CL thinks he's the devil. She should inform GD about this incident but she's worried what it will do to his feelings. As she walk down the hall, she heard a girl's laughter. She turned around and saw Mr. Park's only daughter along with her best friend... As she went back to present, CL wiped away the tears falling down her cheeks.
Enough of the past, CL! Move on. It was your decision to take the money. It was for your family. And besides, if you had not chose to leave, GD would never be as successful as he is right now.
-Then, she fell asleep, trying to convince herself that she is okay.

Taeyang couldn't sleep.
He wants to but he can't.
He just can't.
He's thinking about a woman.
Surprisingly, it's not Bom.
The static he felt when he touched Dara is new to him. He never felt anything like that before. Not even with Bom.
