That- sounds, reasonable. There's more isn't there?"

Kiera's POV

Feeling the rush of wind as Justin runs, I close my eyes tightly, attempting to block out the pain that radiates through my stomach and hang onto what little consciousness I had left.

"J-Ju- Jay?" I whimper, tugging on his shirt weakly.

"Shh baby hang in there. I've got you. We're almost back to the hotel." Justin sooths, his lips touching my face lightly as he runs.

"Mmm- I- I tr-" I trail off, struggling as the darkness threatens to creep back in.

"Kiera?" I hear him ask again, a panicky tone coming into his voice.

Blinking my eyes open, I see Justin saying something but hear nothing instead. It was almost like everything was going in slow motion, yet the background seemed blurred.

"I'm okay." I say, only he wasn't hearing me, and before I knew it everything faded in front of me.

"No- no- no- please no!" I whimper out scared, feeling arms constrict around my body as I struggle, pulling me away from Justin, the guys still battling the onslaught of rouges.

"One-e-e mor-r-r-e st-t-t-ep and-d-d she-she's dead." The vampire hisses, his fangs dangerously close to my ear, almost paralyzing me completely in fear.

"No! Justin! Ry!" I panic, fear racing through my system as I notice another vampire slide in front of me, blocking me from Justin and the guys.

"You know, you s-s-s-smell abs-s-s-solutely divine-e-e-e." The vampire hisses into my ear, an evil smirk pulling across his face.

"Justin! Ry- Chaz!" I cry, tears falling down my face as I struggle fruitlessly against the other vampire's iron grip.

Screaming as I see a flash of fangs and feel a tightening of arms, I close my eyes bracing myself for the pain.

"No, no, no. Please no." I whimper lightly, struggling against the hold around me, suddenly another sensation breaking through my mind and the arms wrapped around me too concrete.

Gasping lightly, I fling my eyes open, feeling a familiar rasp of a tongue licking at my neck and a firm hold around my body.

"Justin?" I whisper, lifting my head up to try and see him.

"Hmm baby?" He murmurs, his nose running along my jaw, the licking continuing lightly, a new habit he had developed since the hospital.

"Nothing." I mumble, laying my head down and relaxing in his arms.

"Everything is okay now love. You're safe." Justin sooths, his face coming into my field of vision as he hovers over me anxiously.

"I know." I reply simply, lifting my hand to touch his face calmingly.

"I'm glad you're awake baby." He sighs, his body relaxing the tiniest bit under my touch, though some underlying tension and stress still hiding in his carefully crafted facade. It was obvious that this attack had shaken him more than he wanted to show.

"I'm okay Jay. You protected me." I reassure, my expression softening.

Hearing him sigh ever so softly, I smile again, leaning up attempting to kiss him.

"No baby. You'll hurt yourself." Justin says quickly, pushing me carefully back into the pillows.

Pouting slightly, I hear Justin chuckle before leaning down to press a loving kiss to my lips.
