Chapter 6

                                    

                                          
*15 days after the tour's over, Cass's P.O.V.*
                          
The guys had been done with touring for about 1/2 a month now. Mine and Andy's relationship was pretty serious, so was Alice and Ashley's. It was so cute the way they acted around each other though. My thoughts were interrupted by Andy's voice.
                          
"Hey babe, I'm going out for a while. Jon wanted to see me for something." I nodded and he kissed me, then walked out of the door. I looked at the time. It was only about 12:45. Alice asked me to come over at 1, so I got up and started getting ready. The good thing about Alice and I, she usually kept her door unlocked during the day while she was home, so we could just walk in without knocking. And when she wasn't home, we knew where the key was.
                          
*Andy's P.O.V.*
                          
I walked out the bus door. I felt bad for lying to my girlfriend, but if I told her the truth-that I was going to Alice's-what would she think??? Lately I couldn't get Alice out of my mind. When I was with Cass, I forgot all about Alice, but when they were both together, I couldn't stop staring at Alice when she looked away. I think I was falling for her. I loved it, but I hated it at the same time. I need to stop this before Cass gets hurt.
                          
*Alice's P.O.V.*
                          
I was watching TV in my living room, thinking of Andy and Ashley. I know I was dating Ashley, but there was something about Andy. He was so cute, so protective around Cass. But a few times, when him and the guys and Cass were over, I swear, I caught him staring at me a few times. It couldn't be though. He loves Cass, right? He wouldn't try something on me, would he? Ashley wasn't really protective unless we were at a party and I was drinking. Which wasn't very often anymore. Our relationship was good though. We loved each other. Then my thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. I got up and opened it, revealing Andy. I gave a weak smile, feeling weak in the knees. I moved aside to let him in. I forgot everything. Even that Cass was supposed to come over in 10 minutes. Andy and I sat on the couch and talked for a while. Then, things got serious. He slowly leaned in, slowly, slowly, slowly. Our lips met and sparks flew everywhere. This was the best kiss ever. He moved so he was on top of me and his hands found the brim of my shirt. He started lifting it up when the door opened and Cass came in.
                          
"Hey Al-" She stopped mid-sentence and Andy jumped off of me. I pulled my shirt down and looked at Alice, then to Andy, tears welling in my eyes. I turned and ran out of Alice's house. Dammit. What had we done.
                          
"I'm sorry Alice, I should have never come over here, this was a mistake." He said, then grabbed his jacket and ran out after Cass, leaving my door opened. "CASS!!!!" I heard him shout.
                          
*Cass's P.O.V.*
                          
I walked up the driveway to Alice's house and just walked in, like usual and said "Hey Al-" Then stopped mid-sentence, seeing someone was on top of her, lifting her shirt over her head. He jumped off of her and I saw it was Andy. Tears and anger welled. I looked to Alice as she pulled her shirt down and then to Andy. I turned and ran out of Alice's house, and a moment later heard footsteps behind me.
                          
"CASS!!!!" I heard Andy shout. I ignored it and I ran to the bus.
                          
I bounded up the bus stairs a moment later and went into the room with the bunks were my bag was. I unzipped it and grabbed the switch blade out of it as Ashley walked out of the kitchen with CC trailing behind him. Jinxx and Jake were in the bunks. They all watched me with questioning, then worried looks. I walked back out into the living room and paced quickly back and forth in the as the other guys walked out behind me. Ashley was about to say something when Andy bounded up the steps. Tears were streaming down my cheeks by now. Alice kissed Andy. Or did Andy kiss Alice? Either way, they kiss and they're both with someone. Then Andy bounded up the steps, coming into the living room.
                          
"Cass. I-" I cut him off.
                          
"Don't apologize Biersack." I snapped. "You had a girlfriend and you cheated on her, with her best friend who happens to also have a boyfriend. What the hell was going through that thick fucking head of yours? Or do I even want to know. You lied to me. You cheated on me."
                          
"H-Had?" He stuttered.
                          
"Yes had. We're over. I'm not going to date you again. No matter how much you "love" me." I said irritated.
                          
"C-Cass. Please don't do this." He said, his voice cracking. "It was a stupid mistake. I don't want to lose you." A tear slid down his cheek.
                          
"Save it." I said and pushed past him. I walked off the bus, the guys following. I walked quicker, they followed quicker. I started running and they ran too. I hid in the playground set and watched silently as the looked around, looking for me. I silently walked down the set and went towards a place only Alice and I knew. It was a lake, hidden beyond trees that we truly believed was enchanted. Whenever we fell asleep, we always had the most magical dreams. Whenever we went there, we always had the wildest adventures. We only trusted our closest friends with the secret of its location. Literally no one else but Alice and one other person knew about it. But yet, somehow, the grass was always mowed neatly. Butterflies always flew around, along with dragonflies. Fish always swam in the crystal clear waters. And the sun always shone. Even if it was raining on the other side.
                          
I made my way silently through the trees, coming out on the other side. It was exactly as I remembered it. Perfect. I smiled a weak smile and walked to the sparkling lake. I stood, staring into the reflection of the lake, watching the fish, as free and happy as can be, dart around under the surface. I sat down on the soft, cool, lush grass and waited a second, the picked my blade up from next to me. I laid it on my skin and dragged it across, the blade so sharp I felt nothing. I just watched the blood trickling down my wrist, landing in the grass. I kept cutting and cutting and finally, my vision was blurring. I smiled to myself and turned, laying down so I was parallel with the lake. I had one knee propped up in the air and my bleeding arm laying next to me. My other arm, holding the blade, was laying on my stomach. I smiled to myself and heard rustling, probably from the birds. I ignored it and fell into a deep, deep restless sleep that I hoped would be an eternity. I was so at peace, so happy, so....In heaven. Then. Something interrupted my peace. My name. It was being called distantly.
                          
"Cass!! Cass!! Cassandra!! Cass, please don't leave me!!! Cass!!! Please wake up, I need you!!" It was Alice's voice. She was in tears. I couldn't leave Alice, even if she was the girl Andy cheated on me with. I tried as hard as I could to wake myself up, but I was too far in. It was too late. Then, my own piece of heaven, the piece I had died in and loved so much was now turning into hell. Lake of acid. Trees dead and burning. Dead, rotten fish bodies at the surface of the lake. Black Water. Mini dragons of the dragonflies. Dead, maggot infested bird bodies. Everything was hell. But I looked ahead and saw the familiar light. I started running towards it. At the end was Alice. Her voice summoning me. I ran faster, but went slower. I was moving nowhere. I was scared. I screamed as I jolted awake. Andy, Ashley, Jake, Jinxx, CC and Alice were gathered around me, my blade was gone and they looked scared, worried, upset, ready to cry.
                          
"Why didn't you leave me alone?" I commanded.
                          
"Because we care about you. We don't want to lose you!" Andy said, annoyed.
                          
"Where's my blade?" I asked. I needed it.
                          
"I threw it in the lake." Ashley said.
                          
"WHY?!?!" I shouted.
                          
"WHY? WHY??? Because you don't need it! You almost died Cass!!! We don't want to take that chance again! If we lose you, I don't know what we would do!" Ashley snapped at me.
                          
"I do need it!" I snapped back.
                          
"No. You. Don't." He said slowly, anger growing.
                          
"Yes I do." I mumbled under my breath. I looked away from him. Tears were in my eyes. I felt bad for yelling at him, but I just snapped. A tear slid down my cheek and I felt someone next to me. It was Ashley. He put his arm around me and I laid my head on his chest and just broke down crying.
                          
"Come on, lets go home." He picked me up and carried me out of the enchanted wonderland.
