24. The One With The Last One

                                    

                                          
                 Chapter Twenty-Four
                          
Rachel smiles while she looks in the mirror. The white dress she was wearing was gorgeous and she wanted to never take it off. Ugh, why does everyone only wear this once? There should be a month where all brides wear their dress when they please and don't look like fools. 
                          
"Mommy, daddy's coming" Emma said walking through the door. 
                          
Rachel turns around. "Tell daddy he can't see me. It's bad luck" 
                          
"Why?"
                          
"Cause daddy's not supposed to see mommy in her dress"
                          
Emma nodded and smiled. "Am I gonna wear that dress one day mommy?" 
                          
Rachel smiles and bends down to be eye level with her daughter. "Of course you will hun" she kisses her forehead. "Now go let daddy know" 
                          
Emma runs off and closes the door. Rachel sighs happily. Everything couldn't be more perfect. 
                          
She knew this day would come but it feels surreal. She's actually marrying *Ross Geller*. Saying that to herself made butterflies erupt in her stomach. 
                          
Just in case you didn't know, Emma was already 5, Monica's son was 3 turning 4 very soon and Joey was onto even bigger things but he still hung out with us and we all hung out like it was 1994 all over again. 
                          
Phoebe met some wonderful guy named Mike a few years ago and they're happily engaged. Chandler finally found a job he liked which was coming up with logos for things. No one understood how that was exciting. 
                          
Still no girlfriend for Chandler but he's been on plenty of dates so it's not like he's not gonna find the one soon. 
                          
Rachel didn't even care she had to wait 4 years for this wedding. At least she knew she wasn't gonna second guess it and it's what she wanted. It was totally worth the wait. 
                          
There was a knock at the door and Rachel freaked out. "Don't come in Ross!" 
                          
"Don't worry my eyes are closed" he announced before walking in with his eyes, in fact, closed. 
                          
"You better not be peeking or I swear I will leave you at the altar" Rachel tried to threaten. 
                          
Ross chuckles. "Don't worry. I had a failed marriage and an almost failed engagement. I don't need a failed marriage again" 
                          
Rachel softly smiled and walks over, lightly kissing his lips. "I love you so much" 
                          
"I love you so much too"
                          
"So, what did you come here for?"
                          
"To tell you how much I love you and I can't believe this is finally happening. Oh and Joey made it"
                          
"Oh my God he did?! This is so exciting"
                          
"Sure I almost poured my heart out and you respond to that"
                          
Rachel laughs. "Oh come on, you know how happy I am and how much I love you" 
                          
"Good" Ross smiles. "Well I'm gonna go know cause having my eyes closed makes me feel really weird" 
                          
"You're lucky we're getting married or else I would've pantsed you"
                          
"And that's my cue to leave"

Rachel and Ross were finished saying their vows, making everyone including themselves, cry up a storm. 
                          
"Now Ross, repeat after me. I, Ross" the minister starts. 
                          
Ross looks at Rachel and repeats the minister. "I, Ross" 
                          
"Take thee Rachel"
