"Harry I know I am an only child and I may not understand what means to have a sibling to protect but I have protected my mother since I was a kid, I have protected my country and my fellow soldiers and if you let me I will like to protect Gemma for as long as she wants me." He says.
                          
My jaw drops slightly as how sincere he sounded. I looked at him from head to toe searching for some kind of hesitation or even nervousness. I could feel he was nervous but he didn't show it. He was really a tough guy which surprises me as I have seemed a very sweet guy during these last few days.
                          
"You are a tough guy I see." I point out. "How come I have seen you those last few days like a sweet guy?"
                          
"Maybe because I am both. I am tough when I have to be tough. If I don't I am who truly am. I like to take photos of everything around me, I love to cook, I probably sound like a pussy by saying all that but I am not afraid to say that I cry in public or that I am chess to the point Gemma rolls her eyes at me." He says ending with a big smile.
                          
"Do you love her?" I ask.
                          
"Very much. It took me a lot of time to grow courage to ask her to be my girlfriend. I was sure she was going to get bored of waiting for me." He says with a big smile on his face.
                          
His eyes shine and a smile doesn't leave his face. I know that feeling because it is the same I feel for Violet. I don't have to be a genius to realize and be sure that he is completely in love with Gemma.
                          
"You treat her right or I am coming after you." I warn.
                          
"Does this mean that you accept us?" He asks in awe.
                          
"Yes, so don't screw up." I say.
                          
"Thank you." He says with a grin on his face before pulling me in a hug.
                          
I am a bit surprised at first but soon I hug him back. He thanks me over and over and I pat his back.
                          
"I know how important this is for Gemma. I can't thank you enough." He says.
                          
"Why is it so important?" I ask.
                          
"She may be your big sister but she really respects your opinion. She was afraid you will not accept any guy around because you still don't accept Robin around." He tells me.
                          
"I did not accept Robin back in time because I was an idiot. I am trying hard to save my relationship with my family because it's important. I know Gemma is in love with you and I know she most likely will kick my ass if I hated your guts. So I better try to do things right this time." I say.
                          
"Thanks Harry. You just made me really happy." He says.
                          
"I'm glad. But not proposing anytime soon, right?" I ask.
                          
"For me we will get married today but Gemma will most likely cut my penis if I proposed." He jokes making me laugh.
                          
"That's my sister you have there." I joke too.
                          
We stood there in silence and I am afraid of asking the question in my head. I don't want him to think that I don't trust him after I tell him that I do.
                          
"Evan, don't get this wrong, okay?" He nods. "You will never hurt my sister, right?"
                          
I didn't intent to make it sound like it did but I sounded like an 8 year old who just been crying. Evan noticed because his eyes softened. I looked down avoiding his stare because I feel like the little kid I once was.
                          
"I will hurt myself 100 times before ever hurting Gemma." He says.
                          
I nod at him and he hugs me. I let him do it and I am surprised at how sentimental this Christmas is making me.
                          
"Gemma told me about your father and I know it was harder on you because he always tried to turn you into a mini him. She also told me about his dead. I am sorry you had to go through that." He tells me and I simply nod.
                          
"It was hard. Like one of your bullets." I joke trying to light up the mood. "You gotta show me the scars, it must be pretty cool!"
                          
"It's not but it made me look like a bad ass. Gemma loves them." He tells me and then blushes when I raise an eyebrow at him. "I didn't mean it in a bad way."
                          
"I get it." I say after I laugh at him.
                          
"She says that scars are part of who we are." He tells me.
                          
"Violet says the same about mine." I tell him.
                          
"We have some pretty awesome girls with us." He points out.
                          
"We do." I nod.
                          
"I heard you are planning on proposing?" He asks me.
                          
"Gemma can't shut up, can't she?" I ask making us laugh.
                          
"No she can't but it was your mother actually." He says with a smirk.
                          
"Well like mother like daughter." I say and we laugh. "But yeah I am going to."
                          
"Did you already talk with her father?" He asks.
                          
"Yeah. Father and brothers to be precise. I was scared as fuck but I guess you get the feeling." He laughs and nods.
                          
"But 1 to 4. That must be scary." He says.
                          
"It fucking was." I admit making him laugh. "But I got the approval."
                          
"Well congrats." He says.
                          
"Save it for now because she has not said yes yet." I point out.
                          
"She will say yes. She is totally in love with you." He tells me.
                          
"How do you know that?" I ask him.
                          
"Let's say that I like to spend time around women because it reminds me of my own mother. Women love to gossip." He says. "You don't wanna know half of the things I heard this weekend."
                          
"Now you have to spill." I say.
                          
"I see you like gossip too." He rolls his eyes making me laugh. "I just heard a little about Violet's Christmas sexy lingerie, Leo and Amber's kinky sexual life through Skype, stuff about Brit's pregnancy that makes me want to puke and something about your mom wanting grandkids."
                          
"Hey how do you know about the lingerie?" I ask with furrowed brows.
                          
"Gemma, Violet and Brit were talking about it last night. I just stood there and tried to concentrate on my phone I swear." He puts his arms up in surrender.
                          
"And who spoke about the Skype sex Leo has?" I ask.
                          
"Well that was actually me." He laughs. "He is my mate and they were telling me things so I had to spill something."
                          
"Remind me to never tell you any secrets." I say and he laughs.
                          
"Okay, okay. I will bare that in mind." He says and we laugh.
                          
We keep on talking and laughing before we realize that we been gone for nearly two hours. As we make our way to the living room, I can't help but smile as I realize that Evan is a great guy. The perfect guy for Gemma. I also smile because I have not only won a friend, I have won a brother.

In other news, did any of you watch X Factor tonight? It was so good! I was blown away by 4th Power. Those girls sound amazing and they are super cute. I really hope they make it to the live shows. If you haven't seen the performance go google it because it's worthy!
