Chapter Nineteen
"What are all these boxes for?" Rachel asked walking in, eyeing them, carrying Emma in her car seat.
"I got some exciting news..." Monica smiles and claps her hands together. "Richard is moving in"
"You guys only been dating for what? 10, 11 months now, don't you think it's too quick?"
Monica shrugs. "We do love each other and I can't stand being alone"
"But moving in?"
"It was either he moves in here or I move in his place"
Rachel pats Monica's shoulder. "Good choice." she walks over to the couches and places Emma's car seat on the floor. "I can't wait till she starts crawling and talking. Babies are so boring when they're tiny"
"You say that now, Richard has a daughter and he said she was everywhere. Touching everything, eating everything. It's a workout"
"I need a workout! I'm tired of staring at my baby watching her drool or suck on her fingers!"
"Wait till the terrible twos"
"The what?" Rachel turns around to look at her.
"You never heard of that? It's a stage where your child starts throwing fits, mood changes, just unruly behavior"
"Good I need that! I can't have her smiling all the time! It scares me!"
Monica shakes her head, laughing. "OH we'll see"
Just then the door bust open and in runs Joey with papers in his hands. "I got it! I got the script!"
Monica and Rachel look at him like he's insane. "For what?"
"My movie!!! I got the script!" he continues jumping up and down.
"Ohhh, congrats Joe!" Rachel smiles and stands up to hug him.
"Thanks!" he continues smiling, staring at the paper. "This is like a dream come true"
"Joe, it's just paper" Monica grimaces.
"This is the paper that leads to my future!" he points to it with his index finger. "Without his piece of work, I am nothing"
"Okay you're probably sleep deprived, go get some rest" Monica offers
"I can't! You know what this means?!"
"That you're acting a little crazy?"
"No! It means I have to study my lines!" he runs out without another word.

Ross freaks out while he tries to find the ring box. He recalls putting it back in his drawer but it's not there.
Maybe Rachel found it?
No no. If she did, she would've said something by now or acted a little weird but she hasn't so that's a good sign.
Where could it possibly be? The last place he remembers having it was when he was shaking it around Emma, excited. How could he have easily forgotten?
This was horrible. Rachel can't find that ring, it'll ruin the entire surprise he has set for them when he purposes.
He checked in the dirty clothes, the closet, the cabinet, his entire drawer, her entire drawer, under the bed sheets, it was nowhere.
"What are you doing?" Rachel asked right when Ross had his head under the bed, trying to find the ring.
"Uh...just trying to clean up all these dust bunnies!" Ross casually said, moving his head away from the bed and standing up.
"I vacuumed yesterday"
"You know how apartments get!"
"Um...okay." Rachel eyes him weird. "I got a question to ask you"
"What's it about?" Ross felt himself freaking out.
"It's about Mon.."
"Oh thank God.." Ross places a hand on his chest, sighing of relief, causing Rachel to continue giving him this weird look. "I mean, go ahead, continue"
"Richard is moving in...and I think it's too soon"
"Why? Why? Why? Why is he moving in?"
"She loves him and hates being alone"
"Why couldn't she just of gotten a dog? Or a pet snake?!"
Rachel furrows her eyebrows. "Cause she hates snakes?"
"The point is, she doesn't need to be moving in with someone just yet!"
"Ross, do you think cause it's too soon or...do you still not like him?"
"I like him tuh" Ross laughs and places his hands on hips. "He's like a brother...to my dad"
Rachel rolls her eyes. "After almost a year together, how can you not like him?"
"I do...I just..it's difficult to see my baby sister with a man who has his life already together and has children. Mon is just starting her life"
Rachel goes over and wraps her arms around his waist and looks up. "But they love each other so much.......oh god."
"Oh god what?"
"I'm such an idiot! They obviously love each other so it's not too soon they're moving in together!"
"I mean we were thinking about our future the first week of our relationship, remember?"
Rachel softly kisses him and giggles. "Cause the love was always there"

The boys were hanging at Mons while Rachel was hanging with the girls at Ross'. Talk about a switch up.
Emma was awake, cuddling with her favorite stuffed animal in her bassinet while the girls were in Ross' room, watching a movie.
Phoebe puts a handful of popcorn in her mouth, causing a few to fall onto the bed. "Thank God I wasn't at your house"
"Why do you say that?" Monica asked while Phoebe chewed her popcorn and swallowed.
"Cause if the popcorn touched your bed you would've went all Monica on me"
"Oh god, do you think the boys are making a mess in my house?" Monica grits her teeth while she stands up from the bed. "I should call and check on them"
"Monnn" Rachel whined. "Can you not be a neat freak just for one day?"
"Clearly you don't know me!" Monica points her index finger at Rachel and looks for the house phone. She goes by Emma and blocks her nose. "Woah, someone needs a diaper change"
"Can you hand me a diaper? It's by the window sill" Rachel asks and grabs Emma from the bassinet and lays her on the bed.
Monica grabs a diaper and something catches her eyes. She picks it up and gasps.
Rachel looks over to see Monica's back to her. "What! What happened?"
"Oh my god.." Monica turns around and shows Phoebe and Rachel the ring box. "Ross is gonna purpose to you!"
