As the bright morning sun rose, and shone through the trees, and through the window, I buried my head underneath the pillows. Too tired to wake up today, and my stomach was in knots. I felt the covers move, and heard them rustle. Jimmy must be up, and noticed that I felt under the weather.  He got up, and quietly closed the curtains, blocking out the sun, for a quiet, dark room. He came over to me, and kissed my hand, and walked out of the bedroom.

I lay the in complete silence.  And I  remembered the last time I felt this horrible, and that was when I was pregnant with Lily. My body sprang up, and my eyes were wide with fear.

Am I pregnant again?

I grabbed my hair, and it almost seemed like I was ripping it out. I wanted to call for Jimmy, but I knew he had left. I didn't even know if Lily was up either. I sat as quietly as I could, listening to any footsteps, and I heard some tiny footsteps coming up the hallway.

"Lily?" I yelled. I looked over at the door, and saw the knob twist, and Lily's head popped in.

"Yes Mum?" She quietly said.

"Can you come here love?" I said while patting a spot next to me on the bed. She nodded her head, and ran over to the bed, and jumped up.  I ran my fingers through her long, dark auburn hair. "Lily, do you know where daddy went?"

"He went over to see the horsies."

"Oh, ok. So, you birthday is next month Lily!"

Her eyes became wide with excitement, and she smiled wide, and began to jump up and down on the bed. "Well, what do you want for your birthday? We can have Jason come over, and some of your friends from school."

"Can we go ride the horses Mum?"

I nodded my head.

"Of course Lily, do you want anything for your birthday?"

She sat there thinking. She looked like she was in rather deep thought.

"A little sister. Or a little brother, but I don't really care Mum. As long as you and Dad are here, I'm happy."

I was more than surprised of what just came out of my daughters mouth. It seemed like something a teenager would say.

"A sibling huh?"

She nodded her head slowly, and laid her head on my stomach. Her blue green eyes looked straight into my eyes. I smiled, and kissed her forehead.

Then Jimmy walked in.

"Well, good morning my loves." Jimmy said while walking over to us. His green satin shirt seemed to almost glisten in the little light that was in our room as he walked over.

He sat next to me, and put his hand on my thigh.

"How are you feeling?" He said while looking at me.  Now was the real deal. But I didn't know the truth. I motioned him to lean in towards me. And I whispered in his ear. "I think I'm pregnant, but I don't know. Last time I felt like this was when I was pregnant with Lily."

He looked at me with wide eyes, and he arched his eyebrows.

"Really?"

"Yeah...but I'm not sure Jimmy."

He smiled, and kissed my cheek.

And I sat there wondering, what was going to happen?
