Valentine POV 
                          
Cara and I left with the stuff threw the small basement window. We were walking but I had no idea where we were. "Where are we going?" I asked Cara. Cara got off her phone. "I called a taxi to pick us up in front of the park. He said he'd be there in 8 minutes lets go" Cara explained. We ran to the park to get there before the taxi. 

                          
"Where are we going?" I asked. "We're going to Los Angeles" Cara told me. "Why?" I asked. "Most famous people are in LA. And that's who you want to meet. 80s famous people" Cara told me. "The time machine doesn't have location. So I'd say there's a 87% chance you'll end up in the same place as in 2015" Cara told me. The taxi came and Cara gave the driver the directions. "What about the other 23%?!" I asked. "I don't know" Cara asked. I freaked out. "Don't worry. Okay. Here" Cara gave me an iPhone 4. "Ew a 4?" I asked. "Noooo. This phone will keep me in touch with you. The only time you'll use it is calling me. So here. You just press my contact and then you have to put month and year. Not the date" Cara explained. I nodded my head in understanding. "Here's a plastic camera. Take pictures and then we'll print them out when you get back" Cara told me "awesome" I responded. "Here's a a book bag to put the things in" Cara gave me a brown leather book bag. I put in the phone and camera. I couldn't be seen with a phone like that so I had to hide it. I put in some money I had in my pocket. About $30 bucks. 
I was going to go somewhere with my dad when I wore these jeans but I ended up buying nothing and never took out the money. 

                          
The car stopped. Cara payed the taxi driver and we got off. "Are we far from our destination?" I ask Cara. "About 15 minutes away" Cara responded. I groaned. I didn't want to walk so much. "Quit you whining" Cara told me. I huffed. After 5 minutes of walking Cara turned a different way. She ran and came back before I could follow her. She came with a Market cart. "Hop on" She told me. I didn't have to be told twice. I got on and Cara and I zoomed away. We got near the freeway. I had to get off the cart and walk threw some trees and bushes. 

                          
"Do you think it will work?" I ask Cara. "Hopefully. I triple checked everything. We have to test it out" Cara explained. "This is so cool. I think this is the best invention you've made so far!" I tell her. "Imagine if it works. Imagine when we tell everyone. It's going to be great"Cara said. 
We stopped at our tracks. The freeway was right in front of us. Cara zooming by. The cold air making me shiver. I turned and saw that Cara was already walking to the right. I ran up to her to catch up. We up the stairs to the bridge on top of the whole freeway. 

                          
"These are a lot of stairs" I complained. "Yes they are now hurry up" Cara told me. When we finally got up to the top of the bridge Cara took the skate board and and set the time

"Set the cable across the floor" Cara told me. I set some white I phone charger in the floor as she told me. I made sure the book bag was secure around me. 
"Are you ready?" Cara asked me. I nodded my head nervously
