There is a large, canonical age gap between the two main characters of this fanfiction. Steven Stone is 25 years old, and May is only 12 years old. And because of romantic themes, this is a huge problem.
To fix that, I have simply altered their ages a bit. For the bulk of the story, May will be 18 years old. Steven will be 23 years old.
I did this for a number of reasons, most of which I'm sure you all can figure out! Either way, this was important for me to declare.
