"What the hell did you just do?" Pan snarled.

He was enraged, and I could see that he could barley control his powers as he was shaking with rage, he had an aura of darkness surrounding him like a cloud, one wrong move from my part and he'd blast me apart. I was in complete terror, my voice failed me as I vainly tried to make even a sound.

This wasn't the hard, cold and calculating monster I'd grown used to. He wasn't controlled or a manipulative mastermind, no. This was a hurricane of insanity and madness, he was completely different, he'd lost it. The rock hard exterior had been replaced by a burning fury so intense I was surprised I hadn't caught fire under his crazy, enraged look.

He slammed me harder against the bars. "Answer me!" he yelled.

The words were stuck in my throat, but I knew I was seconds apart from being ripped to shreds so I persisted. "I-I saw Felix coming here so I followed him," I stammered, quailing under his furious glare. Technically, looks couldn't kill, but the one that he was giving me right now made me doubt the whole theory. "He tortured that poor woman for information, and I couldn't let that happen!" My voice got stronger as anger replaced my fear. "You may be a heartless monster but don't expect me to let you torture people under my nose and not do anything about it!! So yes, I freed her, and it's too bad for you cause she's gone!"

His eyes were scarlet now as he pushed me away violently, turning his back on me and exhaling deeply, trying to control his rage.

We both stood there, completely immobile for a couple of minutes, I observed with apprehension Pan's back, his breathing slowly evened as I watched, ten feet away.

When he turned back to face me, his eyes had turned back to their regular shade of green, and even though it was probably a sign that he'd gotten control over his rage, it by no means meant that he wasn't still furious because of my actions.

He looked at me and breathed in deeply, passing a hand through his hair, he said in a calm voice that betrayed no emotion. "You don't realize what you've done. That 'poor woman' as you say, she's a spy. For my biggest enemy. We were lucky as we were to catch her once with all the help she got from him, but now that you set her free..." He clearly hadn't calmed down enough because as our eyes met, I saw a brief flash of red.

"But who is it?" I asked timidly.

"Shut up!" He roared. "You doomed us all! Now, you're going to have to pay," he  took a step towards me. "With death."

Before I could react he took another step towards me and in one fluid movement of his hand he enveloped us in green smoke.

For a second I felt like I was falling, weightless into space, until the smoke cleared and gravity pulled me back down on firm ground. It took me a moment to get my bearings, I was still a bit dizzy.

We had appeared on the side of the camp's clearing. It was completely empty, all the Lost Boys had gone to bed. I didn't know if I should feel relieved or disappointed. Sure, they might've helped me to calm Pan, but I could never face the look on Derek's face as he realizes that I lied to him and now I was going to be executed.

I looked up, and managed to see by the faint light of the dying embers in the fire the dangling bamboo cage I'd been put in once before.

Pan walked up to where the rope attached to the cage was held and started to lower it. Oh hell no! I'm not going in there! I thought angrily. The cage was now lying on the ground and Pan opened the door, I knew what was coming but I wasn't going to make it easy for him.
