I sat in the holding cell by myself as I waited patiently.

Why Is this all happening to me? Why?

I dropped my head and closed my eyes, feeling tears forming in them.

"God, If you're up there, help me out. Ive tried everything. People always talk about how you do amazing things, so where are you now? Where's my miracle? Make me believe that you're they're for me. Just help me find my baby.." I whispered, and ran a hand through my hair.

"Luke.." I heard as plain as day, but nobody was with me.

"Hello?" I asked. Maybe they had some kind of intercom system or something.

"Luke.." I heard again, and it really started to scare me. It sounded like whoever it was was sitting right beside me.

"Luke.." I heard again, so I took in a deep breath. "Who's there?" I asked.

"I am with you.."

-

"Luke! Wake up." I heard, so I sat up quickly. I looked around, and saw a police officer standing at the door.

"I have someone who wants to see you." He said, so I stood up. I followed him out. It was probably just alex or Michael wanting to talk. I saw everyone standing in a small room, and I stood there confused. A door opened, and Carter waddled in with his blue onesie one. I dropped to my knees and smiled. Tears fell down my face, and he ran over to me. I picked him up and held him as tightly as I could.

"I love you Carter. I love you so much." I whispered over and over as I cried. He held his hands around my neck, and laid on my shoulder. "Love." He mumbled, and I pulled back, kissing his forehead. He did the same to me, placing a kiss on my forehead.

I looked up at the ceiling and smiled. "Thank you.." I whispered, knowing my prayer was answered. I held the small boy to my chest.

"Also, if you would like to speak to Sarah, she is waiting." A police officer said. I nodded, and brought Carter with me.

I walked out to the phone booth thing they had set up. I saw her on the other side of the glass, so I picked up the phone. "Hope you like prison food." I said, and sat the phone down, not waiting for her response.

I walked to the next window and saw the girl who was driving the car for Sarah. It was the blonde girl who complimented me on singing a few weeks ago. I picked up the phone and looked at her.

"I know you said you would give me a call soon, but there's not much you can do on this phone." I said, and gave her a fake sympathetic expression before walking away.

"Let's go home, Carter." I whispered, and he laid down on my shoulder, clinging to my neck.

"Case closed." Bones said, and I smiled as I walked back into the room.

"You guys are all free to go." The head policeman stated.
