Finally joining my family in the dining area Uncle Mason had us all sitting around the able. As I sat at one end on my left was Malakai, Mariah, Mina, Mason on the other end, Marley and Manu.
                          
"The reason why I've called this meeting is that theres been an update with the Massacres around the Island"
                          
"Has this got anything to do with Brett coming 2days ago?"- Malakai asked
                          
"yes. He came to basically warn me that theres a serial murderer infiltrating villages and leaving masses of dead bodies. He's already claimed Thousands of Innocent people"- Mason informed
                          
"how do we know that theres one single perpetrator behind all this?"- Manu injected.
                          
"well we already know that there isnt. A case report was sent to me by the Royal Guards of the Royal Crescent Pack. They've been led to believe that the Hunters are behind this. It turns out that all those innocents, were all wolves"
                          
"ohh my"- Mariah had her hands on her mouth. she had the biggest heart and was always the heartfelt sibling
                          
"So, We're in charge of rectifying the situation and capturing the ones responsible"- Mason summised. After a long pause - I decided to cut in...
                          
"I thought we were no longer under Alpha Leon order. That was the point of us moving back here"- I couldnt shake the feeling of being Annoyed with Leon.
                          
If he thinks he can still order us around, hes got another thing coming to him. I am not going tolerate this.
                          
"as long as your under my care your also under my authority. This island needs their Guardians and it doesnt matter where you are, your duty as Lycan Warriors is far from over"
                          
"what about Brett's pack? arent they on this?"- Marley asked
                          
"what do they know about the perpatrators?"- Mina followed
                          
"most importantly, how are we going to hunt without looking too conspicuous"- Malakai finalised. everyone fell silent and waited for Mason's response.
                          
"When Brett came to visit that day he advised me that our villages have an estimated 2 weeks before we too will be infiltrated. He's desperate to have everyone safe. Half the towns already fled to the capital but hes basically inviting our family to stay at their mansion where we can all be protected"
                          
"we dont need their protection"- I snapped.
                          
Theres no way I can handle being anywhere near my mate. Noticing my grimace I saw Mina and Malakai eye me suspiciously in the corner of my eye but I kept my attention on Mason.
                          
"i agree. I already assured him that we'll be moving back to the capital, only that we're not"- Mason answered
                          
"we're going to pretend we're out of town? ...... works well for me"- Mina shrugged
                          
"we go about things as we normally do only that we'll start training and our own patrolling. We need to cover as much of the town as possible so Maleiata, Malakai and Mina, you three will patrol the college and surrounding grounds, Manu, Marley and Mariah will cover the town. We cant afford to make mistakes"
                          
"what about Nicolas? he's still out there"
                          
As soon as i mentioned Nicolas' name growls sounded from around the table.
                          
"Kill him on sight!"- Manu pounded the table
                          
"NO! You know the penalty for killing a member of the Royal Pack. Look I want that asshole dead just as much as you do but I will not lose any of you to the law"- Mason stood to his feet
