Tristan sat himself down next to James with a sandwich in his hand.

"Hey Tris"

James said with a smile.

"Jems, still not wearing a shirt I see"

Tristan commented and smiled.

"And you still are, we should change that"

A quick wink from James side and I felt uncomfortable again.

Tristan took a bite off his sandwich and turned towards me.

"Oh Connor, I want you to take care of the horses"

I looked at him and nodded.

"Sure"

"Just go to the stables after your training, you'll fine Nathan there, he'll explain what you have to do"

I nodded again.

"And James, I'll have some newbies send your way in medical, please wear a shirt this time"

"Or what, you'll get jealous"

"No or else we'll have an accident like last week again"

I butted in

"What happened last week"

Tristan looked at me with a smirk

"Well James here walked around shirtless and everyone faked illnesses just to see him, everyone suddenly got fever

So

Please just wear a shirt Jem"

James put his hands behind his head

"Fine fine,

Only because you asked nicely babe"

I swear if I had to listen to them flirt for one more second I was going to puke.

Luckily my eyes met Brad's from across the fire and I mouthed out a quick help me while pointing my head towards the two boys next to me.

Brad whispered something to the girl next to him and quickly made his way over.

I quickly got up and he hugged me before sitting down across from me.

I sat down with a smile.

Before I could even talk to him James shook Brad's hand.

"You're Brad right?

I'm James"

"I know"

"Brad, that reminds me"

Tristan spoke out

"You're needed at the blacksmith's shop"

Brad nodded.

"I know,

I went there yesterday.

I'm already settled in"

Tristan nodded

"Great"

I suddenly remembered something from Tristan's speech earlier and decided to ask about it since he was here now anyways and I wasn't sure when I was going to see him again.

"Hey Tristan"

He looked at me and motioned for me to go on

"You mentioned the fact that this is called camp halfblood,

James and Brad aren't half bloods though

They're full on gods"

Tristan looked at Brad confused

"I knew of James,

But you too Brad?"

Brad nodded

"Yeah,

Hepheastus and Demeter

Mom send me here because she wanted to get rid of me I guess"

He shrugged but looked a bit sad

"Oh no I don't think that's it,

There are some issues up in Olympus

She probably didn't want you around to see them

It's bad

Not everyone agrees with my dad's decision to leave

But Demeter huh?

You don't happen to have ran into a fox or anything yesterday?"

He looked at Brad intensely.

Brad quickly shook his head

"Weird"

Tristan whispered and then turned back to face me

"Anyways Connor,

Almost everyone here is half blood

James and Brad are the only ones I know off that aren't

Sometimes it happens that gods send their kids here but it almost never does in general

But as I said

There's some trouble in Olympus"

"oh"

I brought out.

I felt like there was a lot of pressure on Tristan and I didn't want to make it worse.

Slowly but surely people left the fire and I knew it was time for training to start.

Tristan and James also left after a while.

Tristan going off to who knows where and James saying he had to go to medical.

As Brad and I were talking a bit about his time in Olympus a girl walked towards the center of the fire.

And everyone got quiet again.

It was almost a natural something.

Like everyone knew when someone of status got in.

"Hey everyone

For those of you who haven't met me yet

I'm Brynn,

Daughter of Ares

And your train instructor"

She held a sword behind her head and was in the armor I saw Tristan in yesterday too.

"Ares is the god of war, he's not very popular up there tho,

I've met him

He's aggressive"

Brad whispered to me.

Brynn soon started explaining some things.

She started with the base which I was thankful for.

Also we didn't have to fight yet.

Which I was also thankful for because I really didn't like any physical activities.

She ended the lesson by telling us that if we hadn't already got one we should get our own sword because a sword is an extension from it's owner and working with practice swords wouldn't feel as natural as with our own swords.

Which led Brad to being very excited because he wanted to make me the best sword ever.
