So yeah since I won't bring my laptop along I won't be able to update any of my fics that week

"Connor right?

I'm glad you could join us"

Tristan called out as I walked up to the edge of the forest.

He was accompanied with a girl in armor and Ale.

Tristan had on equal armor and a shield in his hand.

I felt like I had been transported to ancient Greece, this was all just so weird.

Tristan held out his hand which didn't held the shield.

"I'm Tristan by the way"

"Yeah, James told me"

Tristan laughed and shook his head.

"of course, always the charmer that Jems"

"Jems?"

Tristan's eyes sparkled and that's something I def wasn't going to tell James because his ego could probably only grow from here.

"Yeah, it's our thing, just don't mind me.

I'm being a bit weird".

I could hear some rumbling in the bushes as Tristan and I continued to talk.

"What's up with this anyways?"

I pointed towards Tristan's shield and the sword the girl held in her hand.

"Obviously something or someone hurt the fox, this is just for our safety"

I nodded and went up to speak but heard Ale growl at something in the bushes.

Tristan took me behind him right away and the girl got her sword ready.

It was probably nothing, I don't know why they were so careful.

The deer I saw this afternoon shyly walked out and looked straight at me as it layed down.

"Calm down Ale"

I said and calmly petted the wolf's head.

It looked up to me and got out of his defensive pose.

The girl put the sword away and sat down on her knee

"Oh look how beautiful this deer is"

I walked up to the deer and sat down in front of her.

"Back again are we?"

"Have you seen her before?"

Tristan asked from behind me.

"Yes"

"Name her"

I looked back at Tristan.

"Don't question me, name her"

I looked into the deer's eyes.

"Doroteia"

I felt Tristan's hand on my shoulder.

"Doroteia, Greek for God's gift.

Did you know that deer are Artemis' sacred animals?"

I shook my head.

"She was obviously a gift from your mother, cherish her"

I nodded as Doroteia put her head in my stretched out hand.
