Hola! I'm here again, uploading a new chapter because I've been really working on this fanfic and I've been getting ahead (Hooray!) the bad news is that this will probably be the last day where I get to post twice. I start camp tomorrow (Art and Cooking) and both of them will take up all day until around 5-6 pm. So sorry! I will definitely be posting a new chapter every day, don't worry.

I do not own Star vs. the Forces of Evil or its characters.

Akasha and the story belong to me :)

Star yawned, stretching out her arms. This wasn't her bedroom, she thought, before realizing that she was back on Mewni. With a sigh, the girl stood, dressing herself and walking out of her room and into the hallway. "Hmm. No Marco." She frowned, thinking of how he usually woke her up because she slept late. With a small shrug, she walked down the semi-familiar halls. She hadn't seen Mewni in four years, and it hadn't changed a bit. The palace was so quiet this morning. It was so unusual to Star. Maybe it was growing up in the Diaz household, where from the moment she was dragged out of bed to the moment she fell asleep was full of constant noise. Star shook away her memories. The Diaz's home was gone. Walking into the dining hall, Star was shocked to find it empty. Her parents, and the Diaz's were no where to be found. Hearing someone approach, Star turned. "Marco? Where is everyone?!" She asked, her bright blue eyes scared.

Marco ran up to Star, who was still brushing her eyes as to help her see. He smiled inwardly before resuming his worried state. She always had that effect on him. No matter how awful things got for him, she was always a little beacon of hope. "I don't know what's going on Star. I can't find anyone in this entire castle." He frowned, looking around the empty halls. It wasn't possible that someone would kidnap everyone but Star, was it? He shook his head slightly to clear the thought. Then he heard it. A soft whisper. It was coming from the girl beside him. "Marco.. I'm scared." This was a total shock. Star, the monster fighting princess, scared? Something was wrong with this picture. Then he turned, and suddenly, Marco was scared too.

There she stood, in all her glory, Akasha. The dark enchantress simply smiled, twirling a strand of her Raven black hair between her fingers. "Ah, Star Butterfly." She stopped messing with her hair, to look up at the two teenagers. Akasha smirked, her devilish and beautiful grin emerging. "I bet you're wondering where everyone is at, now aren't you? I know you'll feel better when I say that they are safe and sound. Asleep, in fact. Unaware that our conversation is even happening." At hearing this, both Star and Marco relaxed slightly. "Where are they?" Star questioned, her tone now stern and unforgiving. She was done with this stupid witch. "Right, like I'm actually going to tell you." With a roll of her eyes, the enchantress summoned a ball of black fire in her palm. She waited until they were ready before throwing it at the pair. Star countered the attack and fired a cupcake blast. With a flick of her hand, the flying cupcakes spun out of control. Akasha wanted them to believe that she was unstoppable, but this fight was beginning to take its toll on her strength. Starting to advance her way forward, Akasha was making progress. "I can't hold her back forever Marco. You have to find a way out." Star whispered fiercely, as Akasha was dealing with one of her Narwhal attacks. Marco nodded, slowly slipping away and looking for an exit. Just as he found one, a sharp scream broke out from the Great Hall. Assuming the worst, Marco broke into a sprint. Star was the one making that awful noise. She cradled her leg, slumped on the floor. Akasha stood proudly across the room, one of her magic fireballs ready to be sent if needed. Dropping into a slide, Marco slid across his knees towards Star. "Is it broken?" He asked cautiously, to which she sniffled. "Maybe. Probably." She frowned, looking at him in desperation. I'm sorry, her large blue eyes said loud and clear. He took her hand, and after squeezing it stood. He faced Akasha, his eyes cold and distant. "What do you want from her." He said slowly, any emotion drained from him. She smiled, rolling her eyes once again. "I want the wand, of course. Besides, Star and I have always had some unfinished business. I feel like some revenge is needed, don't you?" With a cackle, the witch used her magic to lift the wand out of Star's grasp. It was game over.
