◇ Akira's POV: ◇

A scream pierced through the quiet silence. My scream.

Savana pulled me to where Adrianna leaned against the sink, her expression bored.

Adrianna's eyes lit up at the sight of me as Savana kicked the back of my knees, causing my knees to buck and kneel onto the floor harshly.

I hiss in pain, staring up at Adrianna who crosses her arms as her eyes drills holes into me.

"I thought I told you to distance yourself from Blake. Why have I been hearing that he carried you to the infirmary? I mean sure, rumors are rumors, so I gave you the benefit of the doubt. But what did I see just now?" Adrianna's eyes hardened as she glared at me.

Savana pulls my hair downwards so that I'm looking directly at Adrianna.

Adrianna glares down at me, "Answer me bitch."

"I-" Before I can say anymore, Leah lands a kick to my stomach.

I grunt, before quickly answering, "He made a joke. I was just laughing."

Adrianna scoffs and puts her foot under my chin, lifting my face higher to look at her better, "No. I mean you touching his hand trying to seduce him."

I searched my brain for when I made contact with Blake's arm, but what I remembered was lightly punching his arm. I stayed quiet, knowing if I denied her, it would be worse.

Adrianna drops her foot and waves her hand, and Savana pushes me completely on the floor.

I collapse onto the floor, hitting my head against the tiles on the restroom floor, making me grimace.

Leah crouches down and punches me square in the face, drawing blood from my nose, while Savana kicks me repeatedly on my sides with her heels, and Adrianna pulls her phone out.

Before anything gets worse, Cole and Blake suddenly barge in, with a teacher trailing behind them.

Adrianna quickly hides her phone, drops down to her knees, and then proceeds to "comfort" me.

"Oh my God, Akira! Are you okay?!" Adrianna exclaims, her eyebrows pulled together in mock concern.

The 2 other girls followed quickly with Adrianna's lead, asking if I was okay.

The teacher pushes past Cole and Blake, eyeing us on the floor, "What is going on here?"

Before I could speak, Adrianna beat me to it.

"We came in and saw Akira here on the floor, and we were about to help her, but thank goodness you came in time! Let's take her to the infirmary!"

The teacher nods, believing Adrianna's filthy lies, "Thank you, girls. You may leave. Thank you for helping out Akira here. Akira, please head to the infirmary."

Cole glares at Adrianna, "Ms, Adrianna was the one who caused Akira her pain."

The teacher looks conflicted and startled, "What? Someone explain. And tell me the truth"

I start, "Adrianna and her friends are lying."

"She's lying!" Adrianna cries out, "Please believe me, Ms.Hillton! We just came in! We were trying to help her. She's trying to frame us because she hates me!" Adrianna points her finger at me, her face showing despair and hurt,

The teacher looks around, before nodding her head. "I'm sorry to have ever doubted you Adrianna. Thank you for clearing this up."

"Actually, Adrianna is lying."

The corners of my lips tilt up a bit, relief flowing through me as Ava walks out from behind Cole and Blake.

Ava shows her phone, "I have proof right here. I started recording outside when I saw what was happening in here."

Ava opens a video, and the teacher watches the video carefully.

The video played out exactly what had happened. After the video had ended, the teacher turned to the three girls angrily, "You three, Principal's office. Now. Akira, have someone take you to the infirmary, and Ava come with me. We'll show the proof to the principal as well."

Adrianna and her goons angrily glared at the four of us, while Adrianna whispered lowly to me, "Watch your back. You'll pay for this."

The teacher went out first, then followed by the three girls.

Once they all left, Blake came over to help me up.

I stood limply, my weight going onto Blake, "Thanks, guys. You came in just in time."

Ava smiles softly, "That was hard to watch. I hope you're doing okay, I'm going to go now."

Ava turns and leaves, and Cole turns to us, "So, infirmary?"

I nod my head, wincing a little when pain shoots through my head.

Blake goes to carry me, but I shake my head, "Wait. I don't think that's a good idea."

Blake nods his head in understanding, and Cole comes to my other side to lift me up.

"Is this okay?" Cole asks.

People stared as they both helped me to the infirmary, which thankfully, wasn't too far from the restroom.

Cole lets out a huff of air, "Thank goodness we had a plan, and we found out about this. Adrianna looked ready to murder you."

I stay quiet, not really knowing what to say.

Blake murmurs, "I would die before losing Akira again."

Butterflies fill my stomach at his words.

Stop. This isn't right. He's your best friend.

I thought back to yesterday, when we were discussing what to do.

"Good point," Cole turns to me and Blake, "So what's the plan?"

Blake and I face each other, and Blake says, "Well, as much as I disagree with this, Akira suggested that Akira confront Adrianna, and then one of us can go get the teacher, and catch Adrianna in the act. Then hopefully get Adrianna suspended, or better, expelled."

I nod and continue, "We were thinking that we can continue our usual routine in the morning, but I'm going to laugh at Blake's joke and somehow touch him, to get Adrianna mad and hopefully follow me to the restroom."

"And from there, we haven't quite decided what to do, since it was only going to be the two of us. But now with you two, we can full-proof the plan," Blake ends off.

Ava asks, "I can watch over and make sure nothing goes south. And Cole could be beside me, and I'll let him know if it gets too intense or bad, and call him in to help you out?"

I nod, "That sounds good. And then Blake goes to find a teacher?"

Cole adds, "Yeah. The more witnesses, the better."

Blake nods, "That could work, but I know how Adrianna is. She is good with acting and is on good terms with all the teachers."

Ava suggests, "Maybe I can record outside the bathroom? So we have extra proof or something?"

We all nod. "That could work. Thanks, guys." I smile warmly.
