THE NEXT DAY, we were back in class but it unnecessarily tense and gloomy for some reason. My confusion seemed to be answered when I was met with a crying Mina and depressed Kirishima, Sato and Kaminari at the front of the classroom.
 "E-Everyone," Mina stuttered as tears dropped from her eyes, "I'm looking f-forward to hearing all your s-stories of how fun camp was.." 
My heart ached at the sight of Mina's tears.
"Hey," I began gently, trying to offer some comfort as I placed a hand on Mina's shoulder, my other hand wiping away her tears. "It's okay to feel upset, but don't be too hard on yourself. Failing doesn't define you."
I looked at the three of them, noticing they still looked dejected. "You guys worked really hard, and that counts for something."
"Maybe they'll end up letting you go!" Midoriya anxiously added on, "There might be a last-minute twist or something.."
Sero, who was standing behind Midoriya, placed a hand on his shoulder. "Stop it Midoriya. By saying that out loud, you're just jinxing them."
"They said whoever failed have to skip training camp and live in summer school hell.." Kaminari said, his voice getting deeper with each word. "We didn't pass the practicals so we're doomed!"
Before I even had the chance to respond to him, Kaminari suddenly jabbed his fingers into Midoriya's eyes and leaned in, a crazy look in his eyes. "Don't you understand Midoriya?! Or did All might KNOCK THE BRAINS OUTTA YOU?!"
"AAAAHH!"
"Kaminari!" I yelled, grabbing his wrist to stop him before he could injure Midoriya anymore. "What the hell are you doing?!"
I managed to pull away Kaminari's wrist away from Midoriya's face, but the damage was already done. Said boy clutched both of his eyes as he groaned in pain. 'Jeez, he could've seriously damaged his eye! '
I looked back at Kaminari who was shaking, his whole body trembling from frustration. He looked like he was on the verge of a breakdown. ' He's taking this pretty hard..'
"Ease up, Kaminari," Sero said, "I'm not sure I'll get to go either. Our team only passed thanks to Mineta. I got knocked out and since we don't know how they're scoring, I might have flunked.."
"At least bring us back lots of camp souvenirs, PLEASE!"
All of a sudden, the classroom door slid open so hard it created a loud crank, making us jump in surprise. 
"Once the bell rings you should already be in your seats."
There was a moment of stunned silent, followed by a sudden scramble as everyone hurried to their seats. Within seconds, the class eerily quiet, everyone seated and facing the front.
