davids are such a pain
one minute they're silent, the next minute they're screaming
just like my feelings for leafy
after a long day of trying to keep a plant alive in a sea of davids, me and my team decided to play charades
puffball was flying in circles, staring at us frantically while tv's timer showed that there were only 20 seconds left
"APPLE?" my bro eraser shouted "ORANGE? BANANA???????"
"its no use bro, none of us are gonna win this round" i told him
"aw man"
the timer went off, and puffball was furious
"YOU GUYS!!!!! HOW DID YOU NOT KNOW I WAS FIREY'S FERRIS WHEEL??" she screamed
"ohhhhhh" eraser
my team laughed as i got up to take a gesture from a hat
i reached my hand into the hat, looking away to make sure i wouldn't look like snowball did
the paper read 'your crush'
i stared at the paper and then back at my team, then the paper again, and then eraser
i've known that eraser liked me for a very long time (for about 2 years) but i never returned the affection
i just cant bring myself to liking him back
my face started to swell up, and i was on the verge of tears
no, i thought. i can't cry in front of my team...
but then, for some reason, my mind turned to leafy
thinking of her made me feel...
better
it was at that very moment i realized i really liked leafy
i just didn't know it
my brain started to wander, from leafy, to death pact, to memes, then to leafy again
"pen?" tennis ball called
"oh! oopsies" i chuckled "my ballpoint brain wandered off. haha." (?)
they all looked at me like i was insane
i stared at them back and then pressed start on tv's timer
how was i gonna act out leafy?
i thought a bit
"KIWI??????" eraser called
"ERASER HE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING YET." fries yelled
"hurry up pen" golf ball complained
my head snapped up. i had an idea
i took the hat and ran away
after a few minutes of running, i saw my team on tv rolling towards me
"WE GET IT, PEN" puffball yelled "YOU'RE LEAFY"
i blushed at the name. i really did like her
"pen, you are a really fast runner" tv said
"thanks, but all that running made me tired" i said, out of breath
"me and tb are heading to the hotel. we need rest. are you guys going to the dance tomorrow?" golf ball asked
"i dont think so" puffball sighed "fries hates parties"
"i'll go! i love parties!" i exclaimed
"i'll go too" eraser said
"ok then," tennis ball said "see you guys tomorrow"
"i might head off as well," tv said "you wanna come with?" he asked now looking as puffball and fries
"sure, ok" they both said
"that just leaves us." eraser said as the others shrank. suddenly i got scared for some reason
"yeah..." i muttered
"hey pen? i really like you..." eraser started
my face was numb
"do ya wanna go to the dance with me tomorrow?"
i started crying
"i-i am so s-sorry" i whispered
he looked confused
"what?" he asked
"i love leafy, eraser."
he stared at the ground, and then at me
angrily
thats when he punched me
i fell into the water watching him run away
all that running made me so tired...
i need sleep
i then fell asleep
i woke up on an island
one i haven't been on
i got up and walked for a bit
"pen?" a familiar voice called
"firey?! is that you?"
"yeah! come here bud! its been so long!"
firey led me to this bench directly in front of another bench, which he sat on
we began to chat a bit, until i heard another familiar voice
"hey firey! im back"
it was leafy
she squinted a bit
"who's that?"
"thats pen." firey answered "he got punched in the face by eraser and ended up here"
"th-thats nice" she smiled a small smile, avoiding eye contact
she served us tea and yoylecake, and then sat next to me on the bench
we were listening to firey talk about how much he hates being surrounded by water all the time
then he got up to continue building
i offered to help him, but leafy didn't want me to
"let me help you" i said, standing up
"no pen, stay" she said, holding onto my arm
"ok"
we talked a bit more, about the split
but then, i got the sudden urge to tell her i like her
"hey leafy, it was only until today that i realized i loved you. im really happy i'm here with you. thank you for having me" i said, avoiding eye contact
then she hugged me
"i love you" she whispered
we hugged for what seemed like a minute, and then we awkwardly stared at each other
then she pulled a mason (if you guys are actual fans of my page you would know what im talking about)
"i have so many enemies for you, pen"
i blushed, and then we awkwardly kissed
