"So tell me why Robin and Billy aren't walking with us again?" I asked, for years we have always walked to school together apart from when someone isn't going to school but most of the time it's only Vance that randomly decides he isn't going to school because he doesn't feel like it
"Uhm Robin just wanted to get there early so Billy went with him" griffin explained again
"Seriously? Robin wanted to get to school early? He hates school as much as anyone.. well Vance hates school more than Robin.. but that's not the point" I said
It was weird walking to school without Robin, he hasn't even called or texted me at all today plus why didn't he ask me to go to school early with him? I know him and Billy are close but I just thought we were closer then them but recently Robin has been a bit more distant from me
Whatever maybe he thought I wouldn't want to go with him, it's not a big deal
"Don't you and Robin have that math test? Maybe he wanted to study for it and Billy was helping him... he wasn't specific in the text just they were going to be their early" Bruce said which was true we did have a math test today
"He texted you guys?" I asked and Vance, Bruce and griffin nodded
"He never texted you?" Griffin asked
"No? Plus I'm literally his tutor for maths why would he not ask me to go early with him to school plus we had a tutor lesson yesterday?" I said
"Finney it's probably nothing you guys don't live close to each other either so he probably asked Billy because he was closest to him plus Billy is also pretty good at maths so maybe he just needed some extra help I mean Robin seriously struggles when it comes to maths" Bruce said which I rolled my eyes at, bullshit because he walks over to my house by himself before we meet up with anybody else so we can all walk together
"Oooo is someone jealous" griffin said jokingly pushing me to the side
"Why would I be jealous of that?" I said confused
"Because robin isn't hanging out with you but is hanging out with Billy" griffin said
I took a deep breath closing my eyes before looking at griffin once I realised what he was getting at "griffin he can hang out with who he wants I don't care and no I don't like Robin like that, he's my best friend plus I'd rather date anyone else than him before you get any types of ideas"
"That's what Vance- Bruce used to say about Vance before they started dating now look at them now they walk to school holding hands every day even tho Vance would rather do anything else Bruce even started skipping class... well that was once but that matters!" Griffin said
Everyone knows actually Vance had a crush on Bruce first it took Bruce 3 years to realise that but Vance will hospitalise you if you even try to mention his massive crush on Bruce
"Yeah I'm never skipping again" Bruce mumbled
Bruce got grounded for months once his parents found out because for some reason Bruce told them
"Boring" Vance whispered to Bruce but loud enough for us all to hear
"What would you do if Robin liked you? Just a question" Griffin randomly asked
"Well I've never thought about it,it would be awkward I guess considering I don't have any type of romantic interest in him sure he's kind and funny but he's just not my type.. he's just sometimes a bit loud and annoying but that's fine I don't completely mind it, some times he just gets a bit to much to deal with" I said but nobody replied, griffin didn't even make a comment on it just silence
Im surprised Vance never said anything, Vance and Robin basically grew up together since Vance's dad was really abusive to Vance when he was younger because his dad used to think Vance was very "feminine" since he enjoyed baking, gardening, drawing things that his dad said girls do so you could imagine his dads reaction when Vance came out as gay and that he was dating Bruce, his mum left his dad after awhile and promised Vance she would came back for him but..
She never did come back
So he would spend a lot of time with Robin and robins mum, Wendy since it was an escape from his dad so Vance always acts like a protective older brother for Robin even though Robin can stand up for himself
If you say literally anything bad about Robin and Vance hears you, you better prepare for getting your ass kicked by Vance hopper
it doesn't even matter if what you say about Robin is bad just prepare for getting your ass beat
But he didn't say anything neither did he look at me
When we reached the school Vance had left to go find Billy and Robin and obviously Bruce went with him because they can't stay away from each other for about 2 minutes
Instead of going with them, I went to my locker with griffin because I had left some books in there which I meant to get yesterday before we left but my little sister Gwen was rushing me so I forgot to grab them plus griffin had to put stuff into his locker and our lockers were next to each other
When I opened my locker a piece of paper had fallen out? Had I put paper or something in my locker and forgotten about it while Gwen was rushing me
I picked the piece of paper up from the floor before checking what it had said on the front of the piece of paper

"What's that?" Griffin asked shutting his locker over
"A note of some-" "Omg Finney that's a love note!"
