End of Volume 1

### Volume 1 : The Art of the Sun

The portal stood before them, wide and pulsating with a kaleidoscope of colors that flickered and danced in a way that defied comprehension.

Its shape was uncanny, seemingly existing in a space beyond the ordinary—a 4 or 5-dimensional anomaly.

The hum it emitted was not just sound; it was an experience, something that resonated within the very core of their beings.

Imagine being able to see, feel, and taste sound—that was what it felt like to be near the portal.

The air around it warped and distorted, creating a surreal atmosphere that made the students feel both exhilarated and terrified.

The class huddled together in their familiar formation, slowly inching toward the portal.

However, each flicker emitted from it sent them tumbling back, fear etched on their faces.

**Rosar:** "Yeah, I'm good. I'll be damned if y’all think I’m hopping in first."

**Carlos:** "I'll be damned if I go in there at all."

**Rin:** Jumps onto Connor's back with a mischievous grin.

"Hey, Connor, what are you thinking about?"

**Connor:** “The goddess mentioned vampires and succubi earlier.

Hear me out?”

**Class:** (in synchrony)"No."

**Devin:** "Honestly, I'm with him on this one. If there’s a succubus, then she can just take me, bro."

**Omara:** "I hope it takes you, you perv. But whatever, right now we need to focus on the now."

“Chloe, I think it’s pretty obvious—we should go into the portal. I mean, it’s either that or stay here forever.”

**Carlos:** "Honestly, I’d rather stay here a little longer than go to a place I don’t know."

**Lily:** "But what about food and water? We can’t stay here forever."

**Omara:** "I don’t think this is our physical body, though. I can’t feel any sensation at all.

So, I think we should be fine in terms of necessities."

**Connor:** "We can’t stay here forever. Plus, didn’t someone throw up earlier? When the goddess first assaulted us?

How can we vomit if we don’t have physical bodies? Honestly, I think it’s best to take the risk."

**Rin:** "It must be spirit vomit."

**Lily:** "That’s disgusting."

With determination, Connor confidently stepped closer to the portal, Rin still perched on his back.

**Devin:** "Hey man, you sure about this? Maybe we should think this through more."
