The wedding chaos had finally settled, and the night had taken on a quieter tone—or so everyone thought. The newlyweds, Jisoo and Seokmin, were lounging in the lavish suite provided for them, sipping on glasses of champagne and reminiscing about the day's madness. But peace was a fleeting luxury, especially in their circle of family and friends.
A sudden knock at the door disrupted the serene moment. Jisoo raised an eyebrow. “Who on earth is that? Shouldn’t everyone be passed out by now?”
Seokmin chuckled, already used to their unpredictable lives. “I’ll get it. Maybe it’s Mingyu with a surprise camera crew for some ‘after the wedding’ interviews.”
But when Seokmin opened the door, he was met with a pair of mischievous grins—Dino and Sunoo, still in their slightly disheveled formal clothes, each clutching a pillow.
“Soooo Nimm!” Dino chirped, pushing past Seokmin with Sunoo hot on his heels. “We want to sleep with you tonight!”
“Yeah!” Sunoo added, plopping onto the plush bed. “You’re our favorite uncle now, so we deserve a sleepover.”
Jisoo, lounging in a silk robe like royalty, blinked at the two intruders. “Excuse me? I just got married. This is supposed to be my honeymoon suite!”
“Honeymoon?” Dino tilted his head, clearly unimpressed. “But you’re not going anywhere Minnie is stingy anyway, so it’s not really a honeymoon. Plus, we’re more fun than Minnie.”
“Hey!” Seokmin protested, only to be ignored as the two boys climbed further onto the bed, making themselves comfortable.
Before Jisoo could muster a dramatic retort, another knock came at the door. This time, Seungkwan peeked in, dragging a visibly reluctant Vernon behind him.
“What now?” Jisoo exclaimed, throwing his arms up in frustration.
Seungkwan sauntered in, holding a fluffy blanket under one arm. “I figured if the kids are invading, why not me? I want to sleep with you too! Vernon’s just here for company.”
Vernon sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. “I was kind of hoping we’d just drop by and say hi, but apparently I’m being dragged into this.”
“Absolutely not!” Jisoo declared, standing up with the flair of a Broadway star. “This is my wedding night, not a family sleepover. Do you know how much I’ve been looking forward to some peace and quiet?”
“More like you’ve been looking forward to being pampered by Dino's Minnie,” Seungkwan teased, already making himself at home by sprawling on the couch. “Come on, Soo Nim, you’re everyone’s favorite. Let us bask in your presence for one night.”
Dino and Sunoo nodded eagerly, each holding onto one of Jisoo’s arms. “Please, Sooo!”
“You’re all insane!” Jisoo huffed, glaring at Seokmin, who was leaning against the doorframe with an amused smile. “Don’t just stand there! Do something!”
Seokmin shrugged. “They seem pretty determined. Maybe we can make it work?”
“Traitor!” Jisoo accused, but his dramatic act faltered when Dino and Sunoo gave him their best puppy-dog eyes. “Oh, fine! But only for an hour.”
“That’s what you said at Christmas, and we stayed the whole night,” Seungkwan pointed out smugly, pulling Vernon onto the couch next to him.
“Don’t remind me,” Jisoo muttered, flopping back onto the bed as Dino and Sunoo cheered.
Vernon, ever the voice of reason, glanced at Seokmin. “Shouldn’t we at least let them have some privacy? I mean, it’s their wedding night.”
Seungkwan rolled his eyes. “They’ve had plenty of privacy all day. Besides, Soo Nim loves attention more than anything. He’s secretly enjoying this.”
“I am not!” Jisoo shot back, though the faint smile tugging at his lips betrayed him.
As the night went on, the suite turned into a chaotic but heartwarming scene. Dino and Sunoo insisted on building a pillow fort at the foot of the bed, dragging Seokmin into their antics. Seungkwan commandeered the room’s speaker system, playing a mellow playlist to “set the mood,” though Jisoo kept complaining about his poor choice of songs.
Vernon, ever the observer, watched the madness unfold with a mix of amusement and exasperation. “This feels less like a honeymoon and more like a family reunion,” he muttered to Seungkwan.
“Exactly! And that’s what makes it special,” Seungkwan replied, grinning as he pulled Vernon closer.
By the time the clock struck midnight, Dino and Sunoo were fast asleep in their pillow fort, Seungkwan had commandeered the couch as his personal sleeping space, and Vernon had reluctantly dozed off beside him.
Jisoo, finally finding a moment of peace, leaned against Seokmin, who was softly stroking his hair. “This isn’t exactly the romantic night I had in mind.”
Seokmin chuckled, pressing a kiss to Jisoo’s temple. “It’s chaotic, but it’s us."
Jisoo sighed, a small smile gracing his lips. “I guess. But next time, we’re locking the door.”
"Are we getting married again." Seokmin asked earning a smack on his head.
