Emily's hands shot up, pushing Ryan away with a force that sent him stumbling backward. He landed hard on the dusty floor, his eyes wide with shock.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Emily shouted, her face red with anger. "YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST KISS ME LIKE THAT? WITHOUT MY PERMISSION?"

Ryan scrambled to his feet, holding up his hands in a placating gesture. "Emily, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to—"

"YOU DIDN'T MEAN TO?" Emily's voice echoed off the walls. "YOU DIDN'T MEAN TO KISS ME? OR YOU DIDN'T MEAN TO RESPECT MY BOUNDARIES?"

Ryan took a deep breath, trying to explain. "Emily, please listen. I know it was wrong, but... I saw the chandelier, and it reminded me of... of the past. Of the woman I loved."

Emily's expression faltered for a moment, but her anger quickly returned. "SO NOW YOU'RE USING YOUR TRAGIC PAST AS AN EXCUSE? YOU THINK THAT JUSTIFIES YOUR BEHAVIOR?"

Ryan's eyes pleaded for understanding. "No, Emily, that's not what I'm saying. It's just... being here, with you, it brought back memories. I wasn't thinking. I'm sorry."

Emily's voice was laced with disdain. "You're sorry? You're sorry for kissing me, or you're sorry for getting caught up in your own feelings?"

Ryan's face burned with shame. "Both, Emily. I'm sorry for everything. I know I crossed a line. I was consumed by the memory of... of her. Of the way she made me feel."

Emily's anger slowly gave way to disgust. "You're pathetic, Ryan. You're using your past as a crutch. Well, let me tell you something: your past is not my problem. Stay away from me."

The air was thick with tension as Emily turned to storm off. Ryan watched her go, feeling defeated and ashamed.

Ryan's eyes glazed over, his mind consumed by the memory of their last moment together. He was back in that mansion, holding his love in his arms as she slipped away.

"Ryan..." she whispered, her voice barely audible.

"I'm here," he replied, his voice shaking with emotion. "I'll always be here."

Her eyes locked onto his, filled with a deep love and a hint of sadness. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I'm so sorry."

Ryan's grip on her tightened. "Don't apologize," he said. "You have nothing to be sorry for."

Her eyes fluttered closed, and Ryan felt a pang of desperation. He knew he was losing her.

"Stay with me," he whispered, his voice cracking with emotion. "Please, don't leave me."

But it was too late. Her body went limp in his arms, and Ryan was left holding her lifeless form.

"EMILY" He shouted not able to accept the fact that his love has gone now.

The memory was like a punch to the gut, leaving Ryan breathless and reeling. He stumbled backward, His tears filled  eyes never leaving Emily's face.

But Emily was no longer there. She had stormed off, leaving Ryan alone with his memories.
