I'm gonna talk some more about the writing on these fan-fics, almost every story that I read can have ONE good thing but lacks every other thing that makes up the structure for the story. Which for me personally, my structure/pyramid should be based on:
Story-telling
Use of Atmosphere
Details
Pace
Vocabulary
All of these fan-fics lack these basic bricks to complete a coherent structure of the story. For example, the story can be good, but for me, a good story is one that can be imagined perfectly on your head, because of it's description while actually telling the story. A month ago or so I actually read something for my school. And it was actually so boring, because even if it had great vocabulary, great details, and great use of atmosphere/description of the setting, it completely set aside the story, and you couldn't quite make out what the point or what we are trying to tell. And this same problems applies to almost every fan-fic I've ever heard, which again, pisses me the FUCK off.
