It was the first week of December, and Jisung's gaze drifted out the window, captivated by the moon's radiant glow. The night sky was set ablaze with a mesmerizing display of colors, as the disco lights - a festive Christmas decoration - cast a spell of enchantment. The room was bathed in a kaleidoscope of hues, each one blending seamlessly into the next, like the gentle rhythm of a lover's heartbeat.

As Jisung gazed out at the breathtaking night sky, a strange, unsettling feeling crept over him. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but something about the twinkling lights and the promise of Christmas seemed to stir up a mix of emotions within him.

At first, he felt a thrill of excitement, a sense of relief that the festive season was finally here. But then, like a shadow, uncertainty crept in. His mind began to wander down dark paths, conjuring up fears and doubts that he couldn't shake.

Could it be that his time was running out? The thought sent a shiver down his spine, and he quickly pushed it away, chiding himself for being ridiculous. Why would he even think such a thing?

But the fear lingered, a constant hum in the back of his mind. Jisung took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing thoughts. He forced a smile onto his face, determined to ignore the nagging voice of doubt. After all, he had no reason to believe that anything was wrong. Yet, the feeling persisted, a constant reminder that his health was fragile and that his time was limited.

Despite his inner turmoil, Jisung wore a mask of calmness, hiding his struggles from the world. Those who cared about him saw only a bright smile, unaware of the weight he carried within. He had learned to conceal his pain, to shrug off the thoughts that threatened to consume him.

The approaching New Year seemed like a beacon of hope, a chance to start anew. Jisung steeled himself, determination burning within.

With a newfound sense of resolve, Jisung pushed aside his doubts and fears. He would live, truly live, while he still could. And as he gazed out at the starry night sky, he felt a sense of peace settle over him, like a gentle blanket wrapping around his soul.

But it was cold, freezing air touched his skin, and he could feel it in his spine.  As Jisung closed the window, he felt a shiver run down his spine. The cold air had seeped into his bones, making him feel fragile. He turned to face his room, taking one last look around at the familiar walls.

The packed boxes and suitcases stood like sentinels, a reminder that change was on the horizon. Jisung's heart swelled with a mix of emotions - excitement, nostalgia, and a hint of uncertainty.

He took a deep breath, feeling a sense of finality wash over him. Double-checking the room, he ensured that everything was in order. Satisfied, he slipped into bed, feeling the weight of exhaustion settle in.

As he drifted off to sleep, Jisung's thoughts wandered to the unknown. He couldn't help but wonder what the future held, but for now, he let himself rest, surrounded by the quiet of the night.

The next morning, Jisung woke up to the soft glow of sunlight peeking through the curtains. He stretched, feeling the familiar ache in his body. He lay in bed for a moment, listening to the silence of the morning.

As he slowly got out of bed, Jisung's thoughts turned to the day ahead. Jisung headed downstairs to the kitchen, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and cooking breakfast filling the air. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Han, were already seated at the dining table, their faces warm with smiles.

As Jisung took his seat, his mother, Mrs. Han began to serve the breakfast. The table was filled with an assortment of dishes, from steaming hot rice to savory vegetables and meat.

As they began to eat, the conversation turned to Jisung's impending departure. His parents had been hesitant to let him go at first, but eventually, they had come to understand his desire for independence.
