As the three nodded, they began to leave with Karan leading the way. Vanshika's gaze followed Ritik, who was just about to step out. On impulse, she called out, “Arey, kaha ja rahe ho?”

Ritik stopped, turned around, and flashed her a slight smirk. “Hum sabko ek bahut important kaam hai, isliye jaana zaroori hai,” he said, his tone calm but enigmatic. Then, pausing for a moment, he added, “Par main apni dost se waada karta hoon ki tumhe itni aasani se nahi chhodunga.”

With that, Ritik walked off, leaving Vanshika standing there, stunned, her mouth slightly open in surprise. She stared at his retreating figure, her thoughts a jumbled mess, until a shy smile crept onto her lips. She murmured to herself, “Ajib insaan hai…”

As she turned around, she froze upon spotting Khushi and Pihu glaring at her like two detectives caught in the act.

Khushi raised an eyebrow. “Oh ho… kya chal raha hai?”

Pihu crossed her arms, leaning slightly closer. “Batao, kuch toh chal raha hai.”

Vanshika blinked rapidly, trying to hide her flustered state. “Kuch bhi nahi! Tum dono kyun mujhe aise ghoor rahi ho?” she shot back, attempting to act nonchalant.

But Pihu wasn’t letting it go that easily. “Kuch toh tha… woh shy smile sab kuch bol rahi thi.”

Khushi smirked, joining in. “Haan haan, Vanshika ke chehre ka rang toh laal ho gaya tha. Waise, tum dono ki dosti kaafi ‘interesting’ lag rahi hai.”

Vanshika groaned, covering her face with her hands. “Bas karo tum dono, kuch nahi hai aisa!” she insisted, her voice slightly muffled.

Khushi and Pihu exchanged mischievous glances, their teasing laughter echoing in the room as Vanshika tried her best to brush it off.

As the teasing laughter of Khushi and Pihu echoed through the room, Riya entered, her calm yet commanding presence immediately catching everyone's attention.

“Pihu, mujhe tumse ek zaroori baat karni hai,” Riya said, her voice steady but with a hint of urgency.

Before Pihu could respond, Riya’s gaze shifted to Vanshika, who seemed a bit flustered from the earlier teasing. “Vanshika, bacho ki medical reports kab tak aayengi?” she asked.

Vanshika, collecting herself, replied thoughtfully, “Don’t worry, 1-2 din mein aa jayengi.”

But then she hesitated, as if debating whether to say more. Finally, she looked at Riya, her expression turning serious. “Par ek baat hai, Riya. Mene bacho ke haathon mein ek ajeeb si cheez notice ki. Sabhi bacho ke haath par ek dollar ke jaise tattoo ka nishan bana hua hai. Mujhe lagta hai, woh ek symbol hai... shayad kisi bade network ka.”

Riya’s brows furrowed as she processed this information. “Dollar jaisa tattoo?” she repeated softly, her mind racing with possibilities. She exchanged a quick glance with Pihu, who was now fully attentive.

Khushi, curious and unable to resist, chimed in, “Matlab? Tumhara kehne ka matlab hai ki yeh tattoo kisi bade kaand ka hissa ho sakta hai?”

Pihu crossed her arms, her sharp mind already working through the implications. “Agar yeh tattoo ek symbol hai, toh iska matlab hai ki ye bache kisi system ya organization ka hissa hain—chahe woh zabardasti ho ya unke parents ke through.”
