Riley's POV

"James! Can you pick up the dry cleaning? James! Can you drop the kids off at dads? James! Can you fix the sink? James! Can you do this, can you do that? I feel, like I'm a fricken handy man." James ranted to me, pacing, as I sat on the edge of the bed, arms crossed.
"Well I'm sorry, James, that I work for a living, ok?" I said, not bothering to look at him.
"Yeah. Uh huh. And because I do everything else around here, I don't." He said, walking into my view. I lifted my head to look him in the eyes.
"I don't ask you to do everything else!" I told him sharply.
"No. No. You just, expect it." He paused to laugh falsely, with a smile just as fake. "Every time I walk through that door, I never know what's next on your fricken list of things to do, never ending, by the way." He told me, walking towards the closet behind me.
"Well welcome to marriage, James. It's a partnership, you divide and conquer, what's your problem?" I asked, snippy towards the end.
"Only you do the dividing, and the conquering." He said, taking his shirt off, before walking in the closet. I let out a laugh.
"Ok, look. I did not ask you to give up your job, if that is what this is all about." I told him.
"No, but I did not give up my job to be told what to do all the time, you know." He said, disappearing into the closet to finish getting changed.
"I did not ask you to be Mr.mom, you volunteered!" I said, close to shouting, as I stood up off the bed.
"Yeah, but I did not think it would become a full time job!" He said, at the same volume.
"Oh, and that's my fault?!" I asked him, now shouting. I knew A troupe could hear downstairs, but I couldn't bring myself to care right now.
"No! It is not your fault, it just really sucks!" He said, now shouting as well, as he came out of the closet, now changed into more formal clothes.
"Oh it sucks! What would you like me to do about the fact that your life sucks?!" I asked him, standing inches away from him, as the door opened.
"Hi." Emily said awkwardly, obviously trying to stop the fighting.
"You do realize everyone's here, and we can all hear you." She said, clenching her teeth at the last part.
"I get it. I'm coming down." I snapped, turning to walk downstairs.
"So now you're the one leaving?!" James asked me, sounding frustrated.
"James, we have guests. Now come join us downstairs." I said, as calmly as I possibly could, before turning, and walking downstairs.
