After I went home and ate cuz I was starving. I hate school lunch, so I don't eat it. Then I got a text from grayson telling me where his house was it was only a block away. After I ate I went upstairs to put my bag up and grab my math stuff for our project. Thank god it was Friday and I didn't have to worry about school tomorrow. I grabbed my purse and went back downstairs.
"Where are you going?" My mom asked.
"To a friends down the block for a friends house."I responded trying to hurry this up so I can leave. I went to reach for the dorr and my mom walked up and shut it.
"What the hell was that for?!" I asked pissed off.
"U didn't even ask if u could go." She said.
"Oh I'm sorry if I need permission to go by a friends house to work on something that is half our grade this semester!" I screamed. Then I smelt it. The achol in her breathe. She has been drinking. "Have you been drinking?!!" I asked.
"Maybe, its none of ur business I-" I cut her off
"IT IS ALL OF MY BUSINESS IF MY MOTHER DRINKS AND GET A ATTITUDE AT ME FOR NOTHING" I screamed as I was filling with anger.
"FINE IF IM TREATING YOU SHITTY THEN WHY DONT U LEAVE OR GO SOMEWHERE, HELL SPEND THE NIGHT OUT I DIDNT WANT U IM THIS FUCKING HOUSE ANYWAY" she screamed.
It was silent...
I ran out the door. Tears building up from hatred and anger and just sadness. I didn't know exactly what to do. So I just walked to Grayson's house. This was gonna be a mess to explain.
I reached the porch of his house and knocked on the door. Ethan answered.
"Hey, u must be Ariana,- A-are you okay?" He asked
"Hold on a minute while I go get Grayson." I nodded ok.
Grayson's POV--
I was chilling in the basement and heard someone coming down the stairs.
"Uh gray that girl, Ariana is here and uh I think she has been crying." Ethan said.
"Uh-What?! How do u know that?" I said
"Her make up is all runny and smudged and her eyes are puffy."
I jumped off the couch and went up stairs towards the door. And saw Ariana there. Just like ethan said, smudge, runny makeup, puffy eyes.
I asked,"Are you okay? What happened?" She just bursted out on tears. God she is such a nice person, whatever happened I'm sure she didn't deserve this.
I could tell she was built up on anger and sadness on the inside.
I brought her inside and sat her down on the couch next to me. She had her face burried in my chest, I didn't care if she was getting makeup on my shirt she was important right now. Not my shirt
Ariana's POV---
I couldn't help but cry. My own mother never card about me I knew she hasn't its just hard to hear her practically say it. "GOD PLZ KILL ME END MY MISERY" I couldn't help but yell, letting out more tears. "No Ariana don't say that you are so much better then that and you know it."
"You don't know what its like grayson" I said sobbing between each sentence." You don't know what its like to not be able to have a mother daughter relationship like u should."
"Okay maybe I don't Ariana but I know you are such a good person and most people break down you just have to stay strong." He said
"Its hard to stay strong when there's no one to build up the strongness."I said
"Go upstairs third door on the right, its the bathroom go clean yourself up a bit, I hate seeing u like this."grayson said helping me up off the couch.
I got up, and started walking up the stairs. I wasn't exactly counting the rooms I pass I only knew for sure I passed one room. I grabbed the door knob and turned and looked up and saw-
