My bedroom door suddenly opens, and I look up from my phone.
"Hi, Di," Aditi says slowly. "Can I talk to you?"
"Of course," I tell her. I pat the bed next to me, and she crawls over.
"Listen, I need your advice," she says. "I'm a little confused when it comes to my love life. Part of me wants to be with Aarav, since I've been crushing on him longer, but I also love Kabir. Who do I choose?"
"That isn't a decision I can make, Aditi, because it's your love life, not mine," I tell her. "But I can help you. There are ten steps to this. Step one is knowing who your options are. Who are your options, Aditi?"
"Kabir Sharma and Aarav Sharma," Aditi answers. "What makes it worse is they are cousins, and they are staying in the same house for Daler's wedding."
"Good," I say, feeling as if this entire thing is completely worthless. But hey, I am experimenting! I need my little sis to believe I am an expert! "The second step is to meet up with both of them, but not at the same time."
"Okay...." Aditi trails off. "How am I supposed to get in touch with Kabir?"
I think for a moment. "I would ask Ayesha, but she and Aadrika Aunty are at their fashion studio, working on a fashion ramp walk featuring their designs, so I don't want to bother her. I'll call Dhruv."
I call Dhruv, and he picks up on the fourth ring. 
"Hello, it's Dhruv."
"Hi Dhruv, do you happen to have Kabir's number?"
He pauses for a moment, then speaks up. "Uh, yeah, I do. I mean, come on, we're buddies! Anyway, why do you need it?"
I don't want Aditi to get mad at me for telling Dhruv, so I tell him, "Well, I was hoping I could get to know him better. I've never seen him before."
Shoot! What if Dhruv thinks I like Kabir?
"Ah, alright. I'll text you his number, gimme a sec."
I wait for a second, then he shares Kabir's number. 
"Thanks, Dhruv. I'll see you on Friday."
"Alright, bye."
He hangs up, and I share Kabir's number with Aditi. Aditi calls Naina first, though.
"What are you doing?" I hiss.
"It'll be weird if I call Kabir out of the blue. I need Naina to come up with an excuse for me!"
Naina picks up, and Alia tells her, "Hey, Naina, can you tell Kabir I need him for a photo shoot tomorrow morning? I need an excuse to call him."
"Ohhhh, this is for your crush on Kabir, isn't it?" Naina squeaks. Aditi rolls her eyes.  "I'll tell him."
