Okay so I know I'm posting after literally eternity but yeah my life isn't really on track rn. I don't have enough motivation to do anything, scrolling reels and being on my phone, sleeping after 4 am and the list goes on in short my life is completely out of track it would need me some time.

I will put this and the other books on hold, though I'll post whenever I complete writing the chapter, but I'm really sorry to say that don't expect fast updates from me, because even when I want to write, i don't have ideas to do so. Expecting would lead you to disappointment. And I'm really good at disappointing. Lol.

So yeah that's it.

AUTHOR'S POV

Rudra slowly blinked his eyes open, the sunlight streaming through soft curtains warmed his face. He squinted, the brightness pulling him from his slumber. As he adjusted to his surroundings, he realized he was in a spacious bedroom, decorated with soft hues of beige and cream. A soft double bed covered in crisp white linen took center stage, and a large window showed a glimpse of blooming flowers outside.

“Where am I?” he murmured to himself, taking in the intricacies of a space that felt strange yet familiar. The shelves were lined with books, and there were photos of a couple, smiling happily at each other. For a fleeting moment, he felt a pang of isolation.

as if he were in someone else’s life.

Rudra sat on the edge of the bed and rubbed his temples, the remnants of last night still lingering in his mind. Traveling for work had its tolls, and he had been away for weeks on end. Now it seemed he had returned... home? Taking a deep breath, he shrugged off the strange feeling and decided to start his day.

He padded across the plush carpet to the washroom, the sound of running water beckoning him towards the shower. As he stood beneath the warm cascade, the water washing over him, it felt as if the warmth enveloped not just his body but his spirit as well, cleansing away the stress and confusion.

After finishing his shower, Rudra wrapped a towel around his waist, feeling fresh and invigorated. He pushed open the bathroom door, blissfully unaware of what awaited him. Stepping into the room, he was taken aback as a small figure appeared in front of him.

Rudra’s heart raced as he found himself face-to-face with his wife, Vidhyukta. Of average height, her hair cascaded over her shoulders like a silky waterfall, framing a face that was a snapshot of surprise.

Her eyes widened in disbelief, and for a fraction of a second, he thought he might vanish into thin air, the embarrassment was too much.

“Rudra!” she exclaimed, her voice high-pitched with shock.

“Vidhyukta!” he replied, his eyes going wide, his hand instinctively moving to cover himself despite the towel already there.

Both of their faces turned a shade of crimson as they froze in the moment.

“What are you doing here?” he blurted out, scrambling back a step, bumping into the edge of the curtain.

“And why are you half-naked?!” Vidhyukta shouted, her cheeks flaring red.

“Why didn’t you knock?” he retaliated, every ounce of prudence gone as he felt his heart racing.

“Why didn’t you lock the door?!” she shot back, turning on her heel, embarrassment overshadowed by a tinge of frustration.

Rudra, still reeling from the shock, quickly turned to hide behind the curtains, peeking out just enough to catch a glimpse of her.

“Vidhyukta, you cannot just waltz in without knocking!” he insisted, feeling ridiculous.
