(Just a random OC, pick name, gender, whatever.   Your OC is in class 2-A, it is 1-A's second year. No Mineta, his place is replaced by your OC.)

**OC**

I sighed, rubbing my right eye with the heel of my hand. My phone was in my left hand, screen glaring brightly with my half written application email to the overseas exchange. It was late, about two am. I was exhausted but I needed to have it done to send in first thing in the morning. Aizawa had told us it was first come, first serve basis, so I needed to have it in as quickly as possible because I had heard that a lot of the third years were trying aswell and they were always up at the crack of dawn according to Iida.

"Jeez... come on y/n, just keep writing. Then you can rest." I mumbled to myself.

I adjusted my grip on my phone, resting my chin on my knuckles.

I spent about half an hour typing on the screen, trying to put into words why I would be a good exchange student to Nezu and how I could help form better relationships with other countries. I was so exhausted I had to take breaks every few sentences, just staring at my screen before continuing or deleting half of what I had written.

"What are you doing?"

I looked up. My mother had came in unannounced, standing in the doorway of my room. I could barely see her, but her outline was definitely there. Arms crossed, brow furrowed.

"I am-"

"Give me your phone."

I spluttered, "What? Why?!"

"Because your talking to a boy/girl."

"No I'm not! And why should I give you my phone if I pay for it!"

"Don't raise your voice at me."

"I'm not! I am asking why I shoul-"

"Do I not do enough for you? I pay for your food, your clothes, the roof above your head. Do I not deserve respect?"
Her voice was cold as she moved to the side of my bed.

"I.. I.."

"Hand me your phone."

I looked down at my phone, tears welling up in the corners of my eyes, but I blinked them away.

I pressed the power button on my phone, shutting off the screen and handing it to my mum. She took it and left, mumbling "Thank you.", in a sarcastic tone as she left my room, leaving my once closed door wide open.

I frowned, tears slowly spilling down my face. I wiped them away with the back of my hand and laid down. I felt exhausted but couldn't sleep. It would be another sleepless night tonight then.

"Here are your tests back."

Mr. Aizawa walked around the room, passing back our graded papers. Everyone seemed to be beaming with joy at seeing their amazing results.

He paused when he handed me mine, a look of sadness in his eyes.

"See me after class l/n."

He put the paper carefully on my desk before going to the next. The red pen in the top corner showed a 37% score, 37/100 on the test.  I frowned and turned the paper over, putting the score face down on the desk.

Aizawa had decided it was nap time after the painful handing out of the test papers, and had retired to underneath his desk, allowing everyone to talk quietly among themselves.

"Hey Kacchan, what did you get?"

"Ninety-four percent ya damn Nerd."

"Kaminari! It is very impolite to use your phone in class!"

"Uraraka, what you doing this weekend? Wanna have a girls' night?"

I put my head on my arms, leg bouncing under the table. I wasn't sure why I was acting like this. It wasn't like I had expected to pass on such little sleep and no revision because of the shit amount of chores I had to do after school around the house.

"L/n."

I looked up, realising the classroom was empty other than Aizawa.

"Yes Sensei?"

"I would like to.. talk."

I sat up straight, Aizawa pulling out the chair infront of me and sitting on it backwards.

"What would you like to talk about Sensei?"

"What is wrong.. you haven't been yourself for weeks."

I glanced down, trying to still my leg.

"Just tired is all."

"You sure?"

"No.. yes.. I don't know. I'm sorry I dont-"

"Don't apologise. Listen, just talk if you need to okay. You look exhausted. I tell you all so often to rest."

"Sorry sensei.."

"No apologising L/n." Aizawa said in a mock stern tone.
"Just tell me what is happening. Weren't you trying to get on the exchange course aswell? You never submitted your application this morning."

My gaze locked onto the window, my head slowly sinking back to my arms that were still crossed on the desk.

"My mum caught me writing it early in the morning, about two or three, and accused me of talking to a boy/girl. She wouldn't take no for an answer and made me hand over my phone. I then overslept and wasn't returned my phone until the application window was full.."
My voice came out muffled, but I could see Aizawa understood every word.

"L/n. We have one more class today. You sleep through it got it? I will tell Nezu of this and have him set you up on the exchange program. I will also have a word with your mother for guilt tripping you and accusing you for something that you did not do."

I looked at Aizawa through hazy eyes, exhaustion taking over finally.

I nodded tiredly and closed my eyes, drifting to sleep.
