A few days later I was getting carried into Chris's house by Chris himself who picked me up from the hospital. I saw Lisa open the front door and I smiled.
"Hey!" I said as we got in the house and she kissed my cheek. 
"How are you feeling?" Lisa asked. 
"Pretty good so far." I said and Lisa smiled.
"Well your favorite pizza from your favorite pizza place has been ordered and is on its way here for lunch, Chris is going to set you up in his bed and you both are going to have a movie day." Lisa explained and I looked at Chris who nodded. 
"Hell yeah!" I said and Chris smiled as he walked into the bedroom I saw the bed already set up for me to help keep my leg elevated. 
"Actually before you get me in bed can your mom come in here for a second?" I asked Chris and he just looked at me.
"You okay?" Chris asked.
"I have to go to the bathroom." I said slightly embarrassed.
"I can help you sweetie." Chris said and I shook my head.
"Chris I love you and I know we have seen each other naked but this is something I don't want you doing..." I said and Chris sighed but nodded.
"So I won't be giving you showers either?" Chris joked and I smacked his chest with a laugh. 
"No, Ma will help with that too." I said and Chris nodded.
"Ma! We need you." Chris called and Lisa came in. 
She helped me get in the bathroom. Chris couldn't carry me in and the doctor wanted me to try and walk small distances so I hobbled into the bathroom while leaning on Lisa. 
Once I was done I got back into the bedroom and sat on the bed. Chris helped me get situated and I smiled.
"Where is Bruno?" I asked. 
"I will bring him over tomorrow. He is at my house but we wanted you to get settled today." Lisa explained. I was a little upset but I understood. 
Once I was settled the gate buzzer went off. 
"That would be the pizza. I will go get it." Chris said and left the room. I looked at Lisa and sighed. 
"You okay?" She asked. 
"Yeah...I guess..." I said.
"Talk to me." Lisa said sitting on the bed beside me. 
"It's just I'm worried. Chris was never around for this half before. He only saw a little bit of the rehab. What if he decides while all this is going on that I'm not worth all of this? What if he thinks it all too much?" I asked as tears filled my eyes. Lisa took my hand and shook her head.
"Sweetie, he loves you and he wants to take care of you. Just let him." Lisa said and I smiled at her but it wasn't a full smile. 
I couldn't help the nagging feeling I had that Chris was eventually going to tell me I wasn't worth all of this. He had no idea what it was going to take to help take care of me and I didn't know if he was ready.
Chris walked into the bedroom and smiled at me.
"Food is here. Mom the salad you ordered for yourself is on the coffee table." Chris said and she nodded.
"You're staying?" I asked shocked.
"Just overnight tonight in case you need me." Lisa said and I smiled at her. She walked over to me and kissed the side of my head. "It all will be okay." She whispered and I nodded as Chris got on the bed with me and we set the food between us
