It was weird, the adrenaline coursing through me kept me going, kept me working, it made it easier for me to focus. It was like a state of mind, it helped me focus on what needed to be done, I couldn't let a spell hit me.
However, as a four year old, my body wasn't the greatest, I wasn't used to this movement, and due to that, after I slid under a shard, I tripped on my feet and stumbled forward as another shard was coming my way.
I couldn't avoid it, and as I looked up, Monica shouted. "Shit!" She saw that it was about to collide with me, but that's when something happened, something that didn't just stun Monica, but me as well.
It was like a shield, but not a shield I conjured, it just appeared, but as I stumbled forward and shard got closer to the shield, I realized it was more of a mirror. I could see my face in the reflection, my blonde hair swaying as I got reestablished my balance.
The shard of ice colliding with the mirror, or whatever, then shot back out at Monica, but at twice the speed. She jumped out of the way and it collided with the wall behind her, and as it did, she just watched it, completely confused, just like I was.
She turned to me and the mirror vanished, or whatever it was, an ice shield, no, it didn't look like ice, well, the outer part did, but not the mirror part. "What the hell was that?!" Monica exclaimed, utterly puzzled by what just happened.
I didn't move as Monica came my way, walking my way with the same look on her face. My mind went blank, and my heart started to race, and memories started to flood my mind once again, I was a reincarnate. 
I fell to my knees and started to hyperventilate as energy shot through my body as I thought about the pass, a false pass, but I knew I was a reincarnate. I died, my name was Kaitlyn, I was in a different world, none of that could be false, I knew everything, Arthur, Lucas, the asuras, those memories couldn't be fake.
"Lura!" Monica shouted as she sprinted over, but my vision started to get hazy and white as I couldn't slow my breathing. This was my life now, but it wasn't before, I was not always a slave, but what about Leah's training and everything else that happened.
I could feel shocks of pain spreading through my body like the collar was on right now, shocking my entire body as I thought about the pass. That mirror, it wasn't normal, I have never heard of a spell like that, I never read it within the novel, the novel I was living it.
"Lu ---" Monica started to shake me, but I couldn't stop my breathing, it was just too quick, my mind was going foggy, but I was still thinking about every thing. I wasn't, I couldn't, I was a reincarnate, but I have to live for Lucas, I have to tell Leah, but no, she will think I am crazy, and then I'll disappoint her, I couldn't do that.
"Ahhh!" I screamed as I held my head as so many thoughts flooded back in, so many memories, but which ones where true, and which ones weren't. There were a couple of things I knew that were true, and they had to be, they've been my truth for so long, but some faded until now.
I was a reincarnate, and if I had to guess, that mirror, whatever it was, it had to be some sort of ability that was unique to me. I don't know though, it just formed without me even wanting it too, it was like someone jumping in front of me to save me, but there wasn't anyone there.
The other truth was that I had to live for Lucas, he was my master, and if I made him happy, I would live on, I had to be obedient, I had to listen, I had to obey. If I was told to do something, I had to do it, that pain would come back, this pain, the pain that I hated and didn't need. I just had to listen and obey, that's the only way to survive.
The last truth I knew was real was that I was a slave now, but I wasn't before, I had, I had, I had a mother, a father. I think, at least I know I wasn't a slave before, but right now, my mind was spinning so much it was hard to believe anything. The fact was that I was a slave now, and that is all that matters, I had to do what I was told, no hesitating.
