A/n: Still a bit sick, but doing better. Hopefully, the chapter's not too bad. I hope you're all doing well! Also, by the way, can someone tell me how it's December already? Like we're a week into December. How?

"No, no, you're coming with me," Tony spoke sternly. "What? No, no, Dad-" Y/n was not ready to leave. She didn't think Tony would actually go through with this. "I want you home." It seemed like the better solution to be here in the facility with Friday watching every square inch. It wasn't secure like Wakanda, but still very secure. She sure felt a lot safer if she stayed here. "Thor's not going to barge in here, alright? You'll be perfectly safe at home, squirt, where I want you to be." Tony gently held his daughter's head in his hands and kissed her hair. Y/n frowned at him and glanced over her shoulder at Peter. The boy shrugged in response but didn't go against Tony. "Dad, do you really want the big scary bird man showing up at our doorstep? With mom and Morgan there too?" Tony sighed and brushed some of Y/n's hair away from her eyes. "I think the house is almost as safe, if not safer, than this compound right here. Your old man built it, security and all." Y/n nodded along. "Yeah, that's what I'm worried about." She followed her father as he started to make his way toward the sofa. Tony felt right at home here – why wouldn't he – after pouring his own drinks and walking around like he still owned the place. Y/n never really thought about what happens now that Tony's back from the dead. Tony's revival could mean that she's not the rightful boss at Stark Industries anymore or have any say in anything. Y/n shook those thoughts off her shoulders quickly. "Dad, I don't want to put anyone else in danger. None of us know what Toomes is capable of right now, he's been off the radar for years. I haven't been able to pick up a signal, like any sign or clue, none, okay? Nothing. For all we know this guy's been building an army or more advanced material or weapons and he's more than eager to use them against me. And Peter as well. Maybe now more than ever." Tony's brows furrowed together and he looked over Y/n at Peter. "I might've humiliated Peter's ex, and Toomes' daughter, in front of some people," Y/n added. Tony glared at Peter, not at Y/n, to their surprise. "And what were you doing with your ex-girlfriend, Parker?" Tony asked him.

"She was stalking him. He was trying to get rid of her, it's fine." Y/n said. She figured Liz would've run home to her daddy right now and made the situation even worse than it already was. Up until now, Toomes hasn't been a real threat yet. Countless people have threatened her a lot worse than Toomes did at the gate. She's not new to death threats. "Dad, please, I don't think it's safe." Tony shook his head. "I don't want a discussion, Y/n. You're coming." Y/n looked at Peter and Natasha and Bruce who were standing a little further away. "Could you give us a minute?" Bruce and Natasha both left but Peter stayed behind to give Y/n a small kiss against her forehead. "Be nice to each other, yeah?" Y/n assured her boyfriend that she would be fine. Tony glanced up at her and watched closely as she took her place beside him on the sofa. Tony set his drink on the little table. "Thought we agreed on not telling anyone." He spoke up. Y/n sighed and grabbed a pillow to hide her head into. She felt so stupid. "I know. It slipped." Tony could still hear her even if her voice was muffled. She removed the pillow and looked straight into her father's eyes. "I wanted to tell Peter anyway. God, you should've seen his face. He was so angry that I lied to him again. I don't want to keep these things from him. I already feel bad enough for not telling anyone that you already knew." Tony sighed. "Asking you to keep that from him was not my smartest move, I'll admit that." He replied, "We'll figure this out, Squirt. I've actually been thinking about running some tests regarding your whole God of Mischief thing. Make sure it's not some sick mind control." Y/n rested her head against the back of the couch. Tony meant well. "Parker was with his ex-girlfriend, huh? That girl he was obsessed with just before he started dating you?"

"Liz. I think she still has a thing for him. Might be working with her dad. They moved back here almost the same day Toomes was released from prison. I keep getting the feeling that there's something bigger here. Toomes returning might even be bigger than those villains from the other universes." Toomes remembered, Liz remembered. "Also, most of his enemies are because of you, Dad. So, if anything, it's kind of your fault-"
"Oh, so, I help a kid rise to his fullest potential and make sure he doesn't use his abilities for something that could destroy the universe – unlike you, miss – and suddenly I'm the bad guy?" Y/n gave her father a look. "You didn't exactly make friends with the soccer moms at my school – oh, wait, I never went to one." Tony raised one of his eyebrows. "And you're complaining? Those schools would have held you back, Squirt, and I never gave you grades you did not deserve. Your horses with stick legs and wings were A plus for a reason." Y/n remembered that day and how proud she was when she told her mother that her horse got her a good grade. "You didn't exactly make friends along the way." She pointed out to her father. Toomes hated him, Mysterio hated him, and Strange was more than irritated by Tony whenever he breathed. "Like you're perfect," Tony replied. Y/n stuck out her tongue. They looked like toddlers. One bigger than the other. Pepper always said they made quite the pair, not much has changed over the years. Tony placed his hand on her cheek and stroked her skin with his thumb. "I want you to be safe." He whispered to her. Tony has always been terrified of the world around his daughter. He put multiple suits of armor around her along with walls that even Tony sometimes couldn't climb. "And I want to protect myself. I know I'm safe here." Tony groaned and scooted a little closer to her. "I want to get you out of this place. You've been isolated from everything and everyone up here and Banner's going to have a peek inside that head of yours. Which could take a while. You're mine, you have a big head." Tony told her. "First of all, rude. Yours is bigger." She pointed a finger at her father's head, "Secondly, I'm not going to put anyone in danger, Dad. We have the equipment here anyway, more space."
