Wednesday's POV"Wednesday, you're staring." Enid tells me, nudging my shoulder.
"I'm aware." I respond. I don't tear my eyes away from the boy across the room, watching as he tries to avoid eye contact. "Do you think he's uncomfortable yet?" I ask her, and we both watch Asher Fleet glance away from his friends, shifting in his seat as his eyes meet mine. I swear on my future headstone the boy just cleared his throat.
"I think so but-" Enid begins, ready to say something to encourage me to look away.
"Good." I state. "I'll keep staring then." So, that's exactly what I do. Right now, me, Enid, and everyone else are back in chemistry class, which is interesting considering what happened yesterday. Over the course of the past twenty-four hours, my girlfriend has come around to the idea of what her life is going to look like for the next week. At the start, she was weary. Now, she's content with it all.
Last night was an interesting experience, and by that, I mean it was one I am excited to do again. It was different from all of our other times. However, that was to be expected given her recent change. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't painful, and it was to an extent, but it was the best kind of pain I could experience. At least I believe that to be so.
Thinking back on it, I don't think anything we did last night counts for something to be checked off of our list. We weren't exactly exporting kinks, rather just simply exploring in general. Given our time, I'm assuming we'll do something again tonight, which I will be eagerly looking forward to throughout today. Until then, I'll have to endure my usual Nevermore schedule, and sadly that includes Asher Fleet.
He hasn't done anything today that would put me in a worse mood, unless of course, we're counting him solely being here, because that definitely has made me slightly more irritable. If only Enid would let me kill the boy, then she wouldn't need to stress any further about being outed.
And while we're on the topic of that, I really would like to speak with her soon. It's been itching at me, not having spoken to her about the status of our relationship. Although, as I stated not too long ago, it hasn't been the right time. Part of me believes I might be self-sabotaging as well. I know if Enid and I get into a serious conversation, she'll want to talk about my mental health, something I have most certainly been dreading.
Now, it's not that I haven't been avoiding the topic to say, rather...delaying the discussion. It's easy to speak with my girlfriend about the more difficult aspects of my life, however, there are some things that will forever be hard for me to express. While I haven't spoken of it much, Tyler is one of them. I don't like thinking about him, let alone speaking on the matter. It's a memory that finds a way to leave me feeling absolutely worthless, and nothing but sense arises when I address him. So, instead, I'll simply avoid it.
Is that healthy?
Most likely not.
Although, I've never been one to care for what's best for me mentally.
Getting back on track, Mr. Hargreaves has given us the rest of the period off. It's around thirty minutes, and I appreciate the time. The only downside is now I have to sit through Yoko and her restless party-planning antics. It's her birthday tomorrow, and if I don't hear the end of it, I promise she'll be missing her front row of fangs soon.
"Grumpus." The vampire says, addressing me. Reluctantly, I look away from the boy across the room, and I glare at Yoko. She's seated at her desk, and everyone else in the group is loosely surrounding the area. She smirks at me. "You're invited and you're coming." Tanaka states, and I roll my eyes.
