3rd Pov
The three eventually reached the large house that was conveniently right next to the Kage tower.
On their walk over, Naruto had rambled on and on about the test Kakashi Hatake had put them through, and how he kind of already knew who he was, but had limited interactions with him.
Sasuke who was curious about Kakashi's background asked the blonde more questions that were vaguely answered.
All they really learned was that Naruto's dad, the 4th Hokage, was his Jōnin Sensei, his two other teammates from his Genin/Chūnin days were K.I.A., and he was a big fan of Jiraya, one of the legendary 3 Sannin. More specifically, he was a big fan of his artworks, Isha Isha Paradise. In other words, their Sensei was a hentai loving perv.
Kagurama didn't say anything, and wasn't really listening in on the conversation. She didn't care about their Sensei at all.
"Alright! Welcome to the Namikaze household!" Naruto opened his house door by putting in a pin on a keypad.
Sasuke who's been here before didn't really seem that impressed.
Kagurama who basically lived in poverty felt envious.
"Mom!! I'm back and I brought my teammates!" He announced their presence in the warm house. The three took their shoes off at the door, and placed them on a shelf near the hallway entrance.
Footsteps echoed throughout the room, and a red haired women appeared while wearing an apron.
"Welcome home Naruto! So these are your teammates?" She had a warm smile on her face when she greeted the 3. "Ah! Sasuke-Kun, it's been a while! How's Mikoto doing?" Kushinsa beamed seeing the Uchiha boy for the first time in a while.
"Mother is doing well." Sasuke gave a polite bow to the older women he was familiar with.
Kagurama who felt awkward and out of place, crossed her arms, which grabbed the attention of the red head.
"And you must be Kagurama! Naruto's told me a lot about you!" Her smile widened even more and her eyes were firmly shut. Even though her words and actions were positive, her tone wasn't really.
'She's scary!' Kagurama thought to herself, sensing dislike and malice from Kushina. She shouldn't have been surprised since she's the reason Naruto came home with a bloody nose and bruised cheek the night before. Even with his heightened healing from his Uzumaki blood, there was still a faint bruise on his cheek
"Yes, that is a correct statement." She didn't know how else to respond to her.
Kushina was taken a back slightly at her formal way of speaking.
In her opinion, Kagurama spoke like a person who was reading out of a dictionary.
"Dinner is ready, why don't you all go wash up! Naruto, your father's home so go greet him first!" Kushina scolded the boy who started to bolt to what was assumed to be the bathroom. She grabbed him by the back of the shirt, and dragged him down a different hallway while he argued saying he needed the bathroom first.
