You were new to the school, having just moved into town. Everything was so different compared to your old town. For starters, there's an alien in your class.
You noticed immediately, and it was only proven true when another student named Dib continuously pointed out the fact he was an alien, and occasionally his sister Gaz would agree. Apparently his name is Zim.
Zim only wore contacts and a wig as a disguise, which you thought was pretty obvious, but apparently the other people in this town didn't notice, so you chose not to say anything.
On your first day, you were assigned to sit behind Zim, and of course the idiots of the class all made mocking smooch noises and sang that stupid k-i-s-s-i-n-g rhyme which absolutely humiliated you.
This was a fresh start, new faces, and already people were trying to play matchmaker between you and an alien just because you were assigned to sit behind them. This is ridiculous.
Over the next few weeks, you noticed Zim would occasionally steal glances, but it seemed more out of curiosity than anything. You ignored it, just doing your work so you could go home. The teasing died down, but still lingered a bit.
With the constant teasing, Zim got an idea. Much like he tried with Tak (an Irken invader disguised as a human who attempted to steal Earth from Zim), Zim was going to try to "date" you. Not because he was interested, Zim was disgusted with all humans, thinking they're all just stupid and disgusting, but he knew it would make him appear more human. It also might help get the attention from the mocking off him if he just went along with it.
The last bell rang, and you went to your locker to put your things away. You opened it and... Ew. A heart shaped piece of meat, no packaging or anything, sitting on top of your books and papers. There was a little note attached. "From ZIM!"
You were about to throw it out when you heard someone (practically yell) behind you.
"Zim has chosen you to be his 'love pig!' You may start praising and thanking me now."
