Chapter Forty-Six: "What a baby."
"Damn I'm packed," Mark mused as he went through the schedule after the long day of meetings.
"So am I," Haechan pouted, Doyoung caressing his head, adoring him.
They were grouped in with 127 for the day to get the overview of their full group comeback and it was decided that there were going to be a full unit song and 5 track songs made of different combinations of members.
Some were in 1 and a few in 2 but Mark and Haechan were the only ones in 3 different tracks without counting the title which had all of them.
Mark and Haechan were already in two of the most active units. One would hope they get rest while the less active members have a chance to promote more.
But SM needed Mark everywhere and Mark needed Haechan everywhere.
"At least I have Yangyang with me in this song," Haechan grinned, glad to be with his friend who he rarely could spend time with which made Mark's eyes narrow.
Mark was with Haechan for two songs while they had a different third song each so it certainly did not help that Mark was not in the one with Yangyang and Haechan.
Johnny and Jaehyun who were on either side of the jealous boy laughed out loud, Johnny reaching to ruffle his hair.
"I was hoping to continue working on my solo album on the side, guess that would have to wait," Taeyong mentioned seeing that he was in two tracks which was not surprising since he was the leader and the main face of the group.
"Well I can work on mine," Doyoung grinned since he was a part of one.
It wasn't that they didn't want to work. They've always been grateful for the opportunities they'd been given. 
But they've all been tired. While Dream had been promoting, most of them were working on solo projects and album preparations.
"Well I have nothing to do, so I'm fine with working on two songs," Johnny shrugged.
Slowly their chatter faded and they decided to head back home since they had an early day tomorrow.
"Schedules are crazy again," Haechan commented as him and Mark reached their apartment. "I mean it's not surprising but damn, it's crazy."
"Yeah, but we're used to it," Mark reminded him. "It's good the agency is letting us shine."
Mark always made it a point to bring up the positive aspects of everything. It was his way of trying to motivate Haechan but Haechan would work hard just because Mark was doing so.
"But you? You had like a week to rest after so many months of tireless work."
Mark circled his arm around his waist, kissing his nose. "You energised me a lot that week."
"Cheesy," Haechan noted but let Mark kiss him on the lips this time.
"Half of our schedules don't match, you sure you can live with that?" Haechan teased as they broke apart. 
Mark chuckled, carrying him up like a koala. He walked up the stairs, heading to their room before letting him down.
"I'll find the time for you," Mark said. "I need my daily dose of you."
Comeback preparations kickstarted with a bang. The best part of it was that they could mingle with the other unit members they usually didn't have the time to talk to.
