Jiang Cheng grabbed Jin Zixuan from his resting place and shoved him into the juniors way. "Enough of that and I'm not dead."

"Yeah but you took so long! And the entrance was completely blocked!"

"You don't listen to orders."

"Hey I did!"

"No."

Jiang Cheng kept using Jin Zixuan as his shield as Hai Tao was determined to engulf him in an unwelcomed hug. "I did! I was about to go find some help but then I saw that mask hero guy and someone else in white and red as well-"

"Yes he saved us—OKAY!" Jin Zixuan has first never exclaimed like he did but today he's almost saw the light of the celestial gates. He isn't about to see if again because these two wanted to play cat and mouse.

Jin Zixuan pulled Jiang Cheng's hand from his robe and dusted it off. He then stepped out of the way of Hai Tao and proceeds to make a path to Jiang Cheng.

"You guys have your reunion. I want a fresh bath and a way back home."

"It's dark around now, we have to find inns."

"I did that already." Hai Tao smiled largely. Both Jiang Cheng and Jin Zixuan looked a one another and sighed. "Good."

"Can I get my reward now?"

Jiang Cheng looked him up and down and kept it walking, keeping the pearl he found, hidden.

"No. And don't touch me or hug me. Distance."

"Zhongzhu.."

Jin Zixuan rolled his eyes. He could have truly just left them instead of staying back. But nope, he's following after a lost puppy and anger issues in purple.

What a duo.

All the while, Jiang Cheng kept looking down at the pearl he's found, the same one that red mask guy had on his scimitar, or was it on his scimitar?...He couldn't remember but all he knew is that he'll have to return it, to wherever he is now.

"Your late."

Their A-die voiced as Hua Wuxian and Hua Xiang entered into the manor, Hua ying pulling off his cloth from round his eyes and clearing out his view.

"Sorry A-die, got caught up in something." Hua Xiang said as he finds his seat, Hua ying also finding his place.

Hua Cheng's arms folded as he watched them both.

"Is it that important that you almost miss dinner?" Hua Binghe voiced himself, looking to Hua Xiang like he was the cause, as always. And of course Hua Xiang took that look personally. "A-Binghe, you should really stop pointing fingers. You shouldn't even start another missing dinners. You missed entire events because you of Shizun."

Binghe narrowed his eyes, color beginning to glow. "Why you-"

There was a loud thud of a boot and brush of energy coming from the direction of their Father.

"Your A-niang is coming now."

"Is he late?"

"He was unfortunately held back. It's the only reason I haven't began interrogating you both for where you've been and what you've been up to." He said as he goes fo Hua ying and wipes away dried blood, the stench being revolting as it burned onto the fabric. Hua ying lowered his head. "Sorry..."

"No need to apologize A-ying." He reassured and patted his head before moving away. "Besides you here, your A-niang will be very happy for that."

"I guess that's all that matters A-die?" Binghe poked and Hua Cheng smiled. "Exactly."
