Chapter 12: The long walk, Learn to Do It.

                                    

                                          
After surviving the near death from the train incident, the group is now walking through Poland. They managed to get to the other side, and are walking on a road path. 
Anya: Are we gonna walk to Paris?
Dimitri: We'll take a boat in Germany. 
Anya: Oh! Then we're walking to Germany. 
Dimitri: No, Your Grace. We're taking a bus.
Anya: A bus. That's nice.
Namine sighs as she looks around as she walks. 
Odd: Jeremy, when we get there, what sort of wall formation are we gonna be looking for? 
Jeremy: Well, from what I can recall from the map, we'll know it when see it when we get there. 
Sora: Well, hopefully it'll be there somewhere. 
They walk for miles, taking rests and keep walking. And then, they come to a small bridge over a small river that's between Poland and Germany. They're stopping to rest from the long walk. Hopefully, when they make it to the next town, they'll get transportation to ride on. As they rest, Vlad is humming. He made a flower crown and place it around his head and begins dancing. 
Vlad: Sophie, my dear! Vlady's on his way!
Anya: Who's Sophie?
Vlad: Who is Sophie? She's a tender little morsel, a cup of hot chocolate...
Dimitri: (Nervous chuckling) Vlad--
Vlad: after a long walk in the snow.
Dimitri: Vlad, ixnay on the "Ophie-say."
Vlad: (Grabs him, and begins to waltz-dance with him) She's a decadent pastry, filled with whipped cream and laughter. (Dips Dimitri low to Anya's lap)
Anya: (Looks at him) Is this a person or a cream puff? 
Vlad lets him go, making him yelp, and he crashes into Sora, Riku, Goofy, and Roxas, all five of them crash down onto the ground. 
Vlad: She is the empress's ravishing first cousin. 
Leo: Wait. Cousin?
Anya: (Puts down Pooka, and stands up) But I thought we were going to see the empress herself. 
Tanya: Yeah. Why are we going to see her cousin?
Then, everyone slowly turn their gaze on Dimitri, who got back up, and is looking away. He looks at them, and flinches a little at their looks. 
Anya: Dimitri?
Sora: Care to explain?
Dimitri: Well, nobody gets near the dowager empress without convincing Sophie first.
Ruby: What? Convincing?
Leo: (Groans) You've got to be kidding me.
Anya: Oh, no. Not me. No, no. Nobody ever told me I had to prove I was the grand duchess, and the next thing you'll say is that Leo needs to prove that he's Leonid. 
Dimitri: Look, I--
Anya: Show up, yes; look nice, fine; but lie?
Dimitri: You don't know it's a lie. What if it's true?
Anya: Hmm.
Dimitri: Ok, so there's one more stop on the road to finding out who you are. I just thought this was something you had to see through to the end, no matter what. 
Anya: (Looks at herself) But look at me, Dimitri. I am not exactly grand duchess material here. 
They both groan as she walks away. Leo walks to the river with Tanya. The heroes all look at each other. They see that they're still in a pickle here. Leo looks at his reflection in the river. Tanya looks at him.
