The bus drove down the road that would bring Taylor and Miguel to their destination. Mexico. Miguel had told Taylor that the reason he was going to Mexico in the first place was to try to find answers about his father. Well, to actually try to find his father.

Taylor wasn't against the idea. It was good to learn things about your relatives - especially your own father. Taylor felt empathetic about Miguel because he never met his dad before. Imagine your whole life without knowing who your father was? You would probably want answers too. Plus, Carmen never really told Miguel anything about his dad, except that he wasn't the best person. That's why she and Rosa left him.

But Taylor was eager to help Miguel with whatever he needed to do.

"Are you sure you'll be okay on those crutches? We'll be doing a lot of walking around." Miguel said as he looked out the bus window. They were getting closer and closer to Ceuta, which was where they were heading to.

Taylor nodded. "Yeah, I'll be alright. I'll just be a bit slower, that's all."

Eventually, the bus came to a stop on the side of the road. Taylor got up first, then Miguel, and they both walked out of the bus and into the fresh Mexican air.

"I forgot. You're going to have to speak for me. I don't know that much Spanish." Taylor said as she looked around at her surroundings.

"That's no problem."

The two stepped on to the sanded beach, and a lady came up to them, offering handmade jewellery, but Miguel politely declined the offer as he pulled out his phone from his pocket.

Taylor walked next to him, looking over his shoulder at his phone. "You don't know where we're going, do you?" She asked blandly, looking at the screen that read 'No Service Available' "That's okay. We'll probably figure it out."

"Oi, you need some help, mate?"

Taylor and Miguel looked over to where the voice came from, and saw an Australian man approaching them. Three other men were in the back.

"Uh, yeah. Yeah, I'd love some help. Uh, my phone's out of service." Miguel said, showing his phone to the man with the blonde, shoulder length hair. Miguel took his bag off his shoulders. "Uh, do you think you could help me get to 137 Avenue Santurce?"

"Oh! You're in luck. I can show ya. Yeah. Easy."

"Thank you guys," Miguel said with a smile as the other men walked up to them. Taylor stood next to Miguel, focused on the man in front of her.

The blonde man held up a map, showing it to both Miguel and Taylor. "It is... right here." He marked an X on the location to where Miguel wanted to go. "X marks the spot."

"Awesome."

"Perfect. Thank you guys," Taylor stated.

The blonde man nodded. "Yeah, lucky you found me. You don't wanna be doing too much walking with those crutches of yours." He was about to hand Miguel the map, but retracted it back. "Actually, you don't mind giving me some pesos, do you? I mean, just 'cause it's my map and all."

Taylor furrowed her eyebrows slightly as she watched Miguel pull out his wallet. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. H-how many?" Stupid idea.

"Oh. Well, five bucks sound fair?" The Australian asked with a shrug.

"Yeah, that sounds more than fair." Taylor watched as Miguel pulled out five dollars in cash and handed it over to the blonde man, him taking it with a grin.

"All right. There you go." He handed the map to Miguel. "Oh, and how much do you wanna pay for the bag?"

"The bag?" Taylor and Miguel almost asked in sync.
