NINETEEN: Escape?

                                    

                                          
I ran and ran, finally free from his base. He didn't try to stop me, which was very very weird. 
My lungs hurted like it was set on fire, I have been running for at least half an hour now. I slowed down to catch my breath as the familiar structure of the Outernet city came in view. 
"Holy shit.." I managed to let out, my voice breathless.
I'm finally home. 
I eventually made it to the cliff where our house was located and it was there, sitting ever so depressingly.
I breathed a sigh of relief, I felt my eyes getting glossy at the mere fact I was here. I opened the door, almost banging the knob towards the wall. The sudden noise caught the attention of two particular stick figures. 
"Who are yo—?!" TSC came running towards the door, almost as if I intruded the house. "TSC!!" I yelled and practically tossed myself unto him, hugging him tight, he hugged be back as I felt my tears creeping up my eyes, threatening to fall. 
TCO came down the stairs, he looked restless and depressed, yet once his eyes laid on me, he immediately ran towards me. TCO joined in the hug, hugging tighter than TSC as we stayed there for a while. 
I finally broke off from the hug and looked at them, they had the expressions of shock, sadness, and surprise. "Where the hell were you?!" TCO questioned
"TDL.." I answered, awkwardly. 
"What.. Happened..?" TSC asked, looking at my state, my left arm and right leg were replaced with metal prosthetics with TDL's spider logo implanted on it. 
I scratched my 'neck' "Well... Long story.. Really long story.." I said "you may have to sit down for a moment."
And after they did, I began explaining everything, from the people I met to what happened with my arm. I also did mentioned of how TDL treated me, how he hurted me yet showed a bit of kindness before I was able to escape, and I told them about all the info I was able to get on DEVUX-601 along with the weird guy in my dreams and his backstory. They all took in the information, their faces showed it. 
"So you're telling me.. His creation deleted your limbs... And he fixed it?" TCO asked, I nodded. 
"What even is this.. Devux or whatever you call it?" TSC interjected. 
"DEVUX or Devux is a virus TDL created, I knew this because Seruv had told me long before I escaped. I have the vial right here." I showed the small vial which laid between my fingers, they looked at it and observed the scarlet-colored liquid "this was the one injected into the Vira-bot that had deleted my body parts, and the one TDL's blade now holds, it deletes things faster." I explained. 
"That's more dangerous than what TDL crafted before.." TCO commented as I agreed. 
"Do you exactly why he let you escape? Didn't you mention he just stared at you?" TSC asked. 
"True, however I don't exactly know the reason why, he hugged me the night before I escaped." I shrugged. 
"Maybe he knew? TDL's smart you know?" TSC stated. 
"But if he knew then would've he stopped me? TDL's cruel behavior proves so."
"I suppose." TSC sighed "well then Y/n, you should rest, you seem exhausted."
"Yes I am, but I really missed you guys.."
"You've been gone for 2 months, we we're worried sick!" TCO says.
"You really do" I chuckled.
"Rest first before we can catch up." TCO said "i suppose I cannot win against y'all now can i?" I exhaled a relaxed sigh, making my way upstairs towards my room, it looked like it hadn't been touched in a while and cleaned. 
"TCO hasn't been doing good when you went missing.." TSC's voice appeared behind me as I jumped "Really?? Was that why he cleaned my room?"
"He has been for a while now, he blamed himself for your disappearance, telling himself he caused all of this." 
"I really wanted to tell you guys I was fine, but I couldn't." I huffed. "I lost most my powers with what TDL injected me, the only ability I have right now is healing.."
"I see, well... I don't really know what else to say, so much has happened to us while you were gone and now that you're here—we don't even know what to do yet." TSC avoided my gaze, looking down at the floor instead. 
"We can figure it out once I'm done resting, alright?" I reassured. 
"Alright..." And with that, he left, leaving me alone in my room.

It was finally starting to get dark, and I had just Finished dinner at the table, it all felt so good to just relax and have a normal talk with TCO and TSC, they all felt closer to me. I stretched my limbs as I climbed upstairs, the are was quite cold yet comforting. 
I turned the door knob and went in, still hearing the flattering of plates down stairs. 
I laid on my bed, tucking myself between the blanket I always used and just laying there, the Moon's light shined through window making a comfortable atmosphere. 
And just like that I began to doze off to sleep without knowing, I couldn't really believe I was gone for two months, and I couldn't just shake the thought of Void and Lady Star, I hope they're alright though..

"Y/n."
A voice so familiar
"Seruv?"
"What have you done?"
"What do you mean?" I asked, rubbing my eyes off exhaustion. 
"Why did you leave his base? I told you to stop him!" Seruv sounded panicked, just a little. 
"I had to escape"
"TDL knew you were going to escape! His plan will follow through and he's going to bring hell to the Outernet! Can't you see?!"
And suddenly, it all started to make sense why he acted strangely the day before my escape. 
Ugh! How could I been so naive this whole time?! 
"When is he going to start??"
"Now."

[A/n]: as you can see this chapter was rushed as hell because my exam is on Monday huhu 😔
So just made this quick so I can announce this, but trust me the chapters after this will be more focused on TDL and Y/n 😏
