Special Forces Base
I followed Sonya and Cassie. "You all will be going to Outworld. Kitana, Mileena, and Nitara wait on you all. Y/n, you and Cassie are going to lead the team." I watched as a portal opened in the middle of the base and Outworlders started to pour out of the portal in question. "I see no problem with it. We'll go and make sure everything doin' good. They are still in the middle of a Civil War though. Might be beneficial if you go too." I said. Sonya shook her head. "I can't. All these people coming in..." She said trailing off. I raised my hand. "I get it. Don't worry. I'll find something. Maybe Nitara could come down and help." Sonya nodded. "That would help." She said. I put my hands on my hips and looked at Cassie. "Dean, Ragnar, Ivy and Hel are already there. We only need the others to lead." I said with a slight grin. She returned it. "Let's go then." She said. She placed a hand on my chest and kissed me before leaving. I looked at Sonya after the fact. Her smile took her face. "I never caught onto her love for you." She said. I folded my arms.

"I don't understand. She wants to be someone under me?" Sonya shrugged. "Just remember..." She kissed me and started walking. "You were mine first." I rolled my eyes as she left.

Outworld
I walked the streets in my armor. The others walked behind me. "I don't know. I expected the sky to be purple or something..." Cassie said. "It once was. The Empresses influence has created grass and trees to flourish. Crops and water to flow. You see now the buildings are made of wood and vines string from them." I said. Jin scoffed. "Don't believe everything you see online." He said. Cassie rolled her eyes. "And what makes you such an expert?" She said with sarcasm. Jin grinned. "The Shaolin Archives. I studied a lot about Outworld." Cassie laughed. "No substitute for Experience." I hummed. "She is right. You know very little, Jin. Things have changed under our rule." I said with a smirk. He snuffed me. "So what makes Cassie and You our leader?" My face started to burn. My anger was getting to me with every word he spoke. I turned around and grabbed him by the throat. Taketa separated us. "Guys! Let's stick to the mission." I growled as I continued walking. "Li Mei, has to be telling the truth. An invasion? That would violate the Reiko accords." Taketa smiled. "Cause you can always trust a outworlder. But if Outworld our ally... why didn't they help us during the Neatherrealm war?" Jin asked. I shrugged. "I told them no." I said. The team looked at me with confusion. "We could handle it. They needed to remove Shao Kahn's influence." I said.

"But Quan Chi? And his team of revenants?" Taketa asked. "Like Jackie's Dad?" Jin dug. "Asshole." Jackie said with anger. Jin turned around. "You didn't make an alliance. You made an aggression pact." Jin said to me. I rolled my eyes and stepped towards him. "You didn't study hard enough boy. The pact I made was in cooperation with Earthrealm." I said bitterly. "A point you both might make with more subtlty givin your surrounding." Erron's voice rang. I turned to him to see him sticking his gun at the others. "State your business. Including a reason we shouldn't kill you for bothering to king." I raised my hand at Erron. "There fine, Erron." I looked at Jin. "One of them is ignorant though." I said with flames. "I can read you..." Taketa started as he stared at Erron. "You're not from Outworld." He finished. Erron looked at me. I nodded. "I'm from Earthrealm like you. But my employer, him." He said tipping his hat towards me. "Has paid me to keep the queens safe. So I'm now from Outworld. State your business." He growled. I put my hand up. "Emissaries. Here to talk to my wives." He nodded and started to lead us.

I followed Erron through the markets. Towards the end a crowd of people gathered. "In times of war, we are required to view every resource as a weapon for our Empress to use at their discretion." A man said. "To take without leave is to take from the hands of the Empresses themselves." He continued. I continued watching as the group stopped. "Therefore, having been found guilty of theft and attempted murder, you shall be put to death." The man in cuffs looked before the crowd. "Kotal Kahn is the true Kahn!" He yelled. He was put on the block. "Death, for attempted murder and petty theft?" Jin asked. Erron and me looked at each other. "Yes. Trying to kill one of the Empresses is terroristic to the realm." I said. I watched as Jin tried to send an arrow at the killer. I grabbed it as it was sent to. "Nice try, Jin." He scoffed as the blade came down on the man. I watched as the head rolled.
