Late at night in Taipei, Red Arrow met with Lex Luthor in a lavish high story office along with Luthor's bodyguard. The red headed archer folded his arms with a look of suspicion written clear across his face.

"The League of Shadows wants you dead." Roy stated, his eyes narrowed.

Lex merely gave an amused smile as his female bodyguard helped him put his blazer on. "Doesn't every league?" He teased.

"It's not just Cheshire." He replied, not amused in the slightest. "It's Sportsmaster and Ra's Al Ghul himself." He pointed out.

Lex gave an amused shake of the head at that. "I can't say I'm surprised. Ra's is something of a... competitor of mine."

The eyes of Roy's mask narrow suspiciously at that last statement and his jaw clenches, trying to keep his temper under wraps. "Then maybe I should just step aside and let you take each other out."

Lex gave a soft chuckle at that as his bodyguard circled in front of him and started tying his tie. "Your stab at pragmatism is, well, adorable." He smirked at him, giving him a brief amused glance. "But the summit and the peace are at stake, remember?" He pointed out as his bodyguard tightened his tie. Roy gave an irritated look and slowly started advancing towards him, prompting the businessman to look away casually. "We'll increase security. Though if the shadows think you're dead, maybe we can surprise him."

Roy gave a subtle smirk at that and his eyes darted to the corner of the room. "I've got a better surprise."

Lex gave a surprised look and glanced over his shoulder to the spot where Roy was looking, but he didn't see anybody there. Then when he looked back, he saw the archer walking away towards the door.

"I'll get ready for the meeting, then." He waved over his shoulder. "Consider yourself lucky I'm in this to *save* people."

Lex gave an amused smirk as he watched him walk out the door. "Believe me... I'm well aware."

After leaving the office, Roy stepped out one of the fire exits onto the roof of the building next door and sighed to himself with a shake of the head once he was alone.

"You *really* like to push your luck, don't you?" He said with an amused snicker.

Then he turned around to see Spider-Man sticking to the wall above his head.

Peter gave a playful shrug at that. "Hey, just be thankful he doesn't have X-ray vision." He joked with a shrug, lifting his palm to watch a microscopic spider-bot crawl into his palm. "They *really* need to start working on their firewalls."

"You get anything useful?" Roy asked.

"On a not-so private computer?" Peter scoffed. "I wish it were that easy." He replied. "But Ra's Al Ghul is alive?" He replied with surprise. "Man, I guess Bats was right about them having a spooky resurrection pit."

Roy raised a brow at that in confusion. "What makes you say that?"

Peter shrugged. "Cause last time I saw that guy he had a knife through his head placed there, ever so gently by the Punisher."

Roy shook his head at that with an exasperated sigh. "Great. That's absolutely terrific." He replied sarcastically.

"Looks like you're right about this being suspicious, though." He replied, folding his arms. "One of my people think he's playing both sides to get more power from their peace."

Roy threw his arm up at that. "Oh, great! Now what do we do?"

Peter shook his head with a sigh. "I dunno." He replied with a shrug. "But as much as we may want to sabotage Lex's plans, we can't just stand by and let the League of Shadows kill those people."
