"Good morning!" the doctor cheered.

Billie squinted as she turned on the bright lights of his room. For a second he forgot where he was, then he realized that he was in a mental hospital. He sighed at this.

"Did you sleep well?" she asked, a high pitched tone in her voice that wasn't comforting.

Billie Joe didn't answer.

The doctor's smile fell and she cleared her throat awkwardly. She rubbed the back of her neck before rolling the same wheelchair to Billie's bed.

"We have to get to your first therapy session, so up up up!" she said. Her brown eyes were soft but also intimidating.

Billie sat up in the rock hard bed and pushed the thin sheets off of him. His itchy gown made his skin crawl. He didn't look in the doctor's eyes.

"Need help, honey?" the doctor asked. She started to make her way over to Billie Joe.

Billie Joe did need her help, but he didn't respond. He still felt pretty weak. His back ached and his heart longed for Mike. He throat was still dry.

Sitting himself down in the wheelchair, Billie took in a deep breath. His chest felt tight. He felt restricted the hospital.

"You alright?"

Billie didn't answer.

Instead of asking more questions that wouldn't be answered, the doctor began wheeling Billie Joe out of his cold room. Patients roamed the halls with other doctors. Some sat in the activity area. Billie watched.

"You can come here after the session if you would like," the doctor suggested.

Billie Joe knew he wouldn't go.

They went the same path that they did the night before to the therapy room. The same dim lights glowed overhead. Billie sighed.

"And here we are!" the doctor sang.

She stepped in front of Billie Joe to put a soft knock on the door. The light from the room creep out under the door. Billie kept his eyes fixed on the ground. He didn't want to be here.

"Come in!" someone shouted from inside the room.

The doctor opened the door slowly and peaked in before going behind Billie Joe's wheelchair and pushing him through the opening.

The room was just as he saw it last night. Plain, boring, intending to be comforting. Billie's eyes flickered over every corner of the room, having already seen it before. The only thing out of place was the woman sitting behind the wooden desk, an obnoxious smile planted across her face.

Her hair was a reddish brown, pulled back into a thought bun at the bottom of her neck. She had gray eyes that were surrounded by short eyelashes. Her eyeliner was thick and unmistakable. The therapist's figure was small, although she was quite a tall person. She had thick rimmed glasses that sat lazily on her nose and a pencil skirt that slimmed her down even more. She looked, and was, down right fake.

"Hello hello!" she cheered. Billie played with his fingers.

Billie Joe got pushed into the room. The doctor he started to feel a bit comfortable around left the room, whispering that she would be right outside. Billie wanted to go too.

"Hi, Mr. Armstrong! I will be your therapist for your stay in the psychiatric hospital. How are you?" the doctor asked as she peaked over her thick glasses.

Billie didn't answer. The doctor looked away.

"Well let's just get started," she said as she sat down in her office chair. Billie Joe watched her closely.
