My alarm buzzed as I laid in bed. “What time is it?” George groaned as I tried to stop it from making any more noise.

“11am,” I yawned, sitting up in bed and looking at him as he laid beside me, still with his eyes tightly shut.

“Already?”

“Jet lag sucks, right?” I laughed, still half asleep.

“We’ve got to be at the red carpet for 5pm,” George said, putting his arm around my bump.

“I’d better go get a bath then,” I smiled. I waited for George to lift his arm off me. “You’ve fallen back asleep, haven’t you?”

After receiving no reply from George, I sighed to myself and lifted his arm from my bump. Getting up off the bed, I dropped his arm and it landed on the bed where I had been lying. I stood watching him for a few moments as he laid motionless on the bed, as if he was dead. He looked so cute – I couldn’t help but grin as I watched him. Turning around, I walked into the bathroom and shut the door before running the bath. Bubbles frothed up as I emptied a whole bottle of bubble bath into it.

“Perfect,” I grinned to myself as I watched more and more bubbles forming in the water.

“Look at you,” George grinned to me as I walked out of the bathroom with my hair all curled and my make-up all finished.

“Shh,” I giggled as I felt myself blushing.

“Okay,” he smiled. “But you do look amazing.”

Walking over to the wardrobe, I held onto my towel that was wrapped around me. Opening the wardrobe door, I got my dress out that I was planning to wear for tonight’s awards show. Putting my dress on the bed and laying it out so it didn’t crease, I noticed George trying to do his tie up. “Seriously George,” I laughed to myself as I walked over to him. “Learn how to do them.”

“I know,” he grinned. “It’s just better when you do it.”

I looked at him and smiled as I tied his tie for him. As I concentrated on doing the tie, I could tell he was looking at me. “Stop it,” I giggled. “You know that makes me nervous.”

“Why?” he asked.

“Because it makes me paranoid.”

“Your insecurities are just too cute,” he smiled, kissing my nose.

“Stop it,” I grinned.

“Fine,” he laughed. “But I am proud of you.”

“Proud of me?” I asked. “You should be proud of you. You’re the one nominated for a VMA.”

“Yeah,” he smiled. “But you’re the one who’s making me proud.”

“Just shut up,” I grinned as I finished tying his tie.

“And here to present the Best Pop Video for the VMAs 2015 is the gorgeous and equally as talented, Demi Lovato,” the host announced.

As the audience applauded and cheered for Demi Lovato, I looked down the row at George, JJ, Josh and Jaymi who all looked so nervous. I knew how much this meant to them. Crossing my fingers, I looked back at the stage to watch Demi Lovato announce the winner of the award that the boys had spent weeks promoting.

“And the winner of the Best Pop Video is..” she paused. “Union J.”

The boys went into overdrive with their celebratory jumping up and down. I grinned as they stood up and walked down the aisle towards the stage as the audience in the Staples Centre went crazy. Knowing they were all cheering for the boy band I had known since the very start made me unbelievably proud.

“Thank-you,” Josh grinned as Demi handed the award to them.

They all looked at the award that Jaymi was holding in amazement. “Wow,” JJ said as he stood in front of the microphone. “Is this actually happening?”

“This is our first international award and we’d just like to thank every person who voted for us and has ever supported us, either through the X Factor journey or through this crazy journey that we’ve had in the last few years,” Jaymi added, admiring the award as he held it.

“We also want to thank our friends and family for being so supportive of us,” George grinned.

“But most importantly, we’d like to thank one person in particular,” Josh smiled, looking over in our direction. “Sammy.”

I looked up at the stage in confusion.

“Sammy,” Josh continued. “You’re not only an amazing best-friend, but you’ve been there from the very start and we honestly can’t thank you enough for the support. You’re such an incredible artist and one day this will be you. And Sammy, thank-you for being an amazing best-friend, girlfriend to George and now,” he paused. “And now, thank-you for carrying the first Union J baby.”

Everyone turned around to look at me. I felt as if there was 14,000 eyes on me.. well, in fact, there was – and not to mention all the viewers watching the awards show live all over the world.

“Sammy,” they all grinned, ushering me to walk onto the stage with them.

Chloe pushed me down the row and into the walk way. Reluctantly, I walked through the rows of seats towards the front of the stage. Carefully, I made my way up the steps to join them on stage, making sure I didn’t trip over in my six inch heels.

“I couldn’t think of a better time to announce this,” Jaymi grinned to me as I stood in the middle of them all.

“Sammy and I are expecting our first child in three months,” George announced, holding onto my hand tightly.

As the audience began clapping and cheering, I looked at George.

“What is it?” he asked, knowing something had happened.

“Give me your hand,” I grinned, grabbing hold of the hand that I wasn’t already holding onto.

Placing his hand at the bottom of my bump, I waited and watched out for his reaction. “That’s our baby kicking?” he beamed.

Nodding, Jaymi, JJ and Josh put their hands on my bump. “That’s magical,” JJ laughed.

“It feels so weird,” Josh grinned.

“Does anyone else feel a little uncomfortable feeling Sammy’s bump on stage?” Jaymi asked.

“Yeah,” we all grinned.
