32 - Loud Silence

You turned to face the man and his empty black eyes shot right through your soul and chills ran down your spine. There was a moment of silence between you two as you both tried to fight this sense of familiarity that seemed to overtake you both.

He was wearing a white unbuttoned suit with a white dress shirt underneath. He had a tie on but it had been loosened, slightly revealing the top of his chest.

This was a man who had a strong presence in every way, shape, and form. You studied his facial structure; it was so bony. The man had a sharp jawline and looked so pale. He had eye bags so prominent they were almost completely black in color, just as his eyes were.

His nose was the perfect shape and all his facial proportions just seemed so beautiful. His platinum white hair looked so silky and soft to the touch; yet, despite his unusual appearance, you weren't afraid of his beauty... something kept drawing you in.

Tension continued to build as he studied you as well. He quickly glanced at your e/c colored eyes and admired how your makeup accentuated your features, like how your lips were so plump and glossy and how that eyeliner gave you the perfect cat-eyed look; you were perfection.

He followed the long length of your h/c colored hair as it led down to the shimmery red dress you were wearing that perfectly outlined your curves as you sat on the bed. He noticed the single strap that had begun to slide off your shoulder which led him to your prominent collar bones. He noticed how your skin was so full of life, it seemed so surreal to the man.

The silence was so loud yet, in a sense, comforting.

"Uh, h-how do– um I mean, did that pink-haired guy tell you who I was?" You asked in a stutter.

"Yeah, his name is Sanzu by the way. You know, you're going to be the first female in Bonten,"  The white-haired man told you, "Well, first lady actually in Bonten. I guess the brothers were too scared to tell me who you actually were. Makes sense."

You were confused by his words but to no matter, you agreed to his statement. Your plan had been going a lot smoother than expected but you still had no idea what Sanzu had told this man.

You turned your head down, facing your thighs as you spoke, "Yeah, Sanzu met up with me in a bar and told me what to expect before bringing me here to his place. Covered my head but didn't harm me in any way... he explained he just needed to keep the location secure," You lied.

"What's your name, by the way?" The leader asked.

You didn't want to give away too much information up front, especially since he didn't know what your name was so you assumed he didn't give this man much personal information. Your plan meant making your way to the inner rankings of Bonten, and based on what Chifuyu told you about this gang, they could easily figure out your identity if you were to truly reveal yourself even if it was just a name.

You had to play it smart, this was an intricate plan that could have no flaws. You wish you had thought of this sooner since you had already revealed your name to those brothers earlier, but your only hope was that they either didn't care enough to remember or that they didn't even pay attention.

"I go by "(first letter of your name)",  you told him, looking once again at the man. "Better coverage for myself."

"Respect," He told you. "Although, for a female in Bonten, I doubt you'd need much coverage for yourself," He said, winking at you. "Being in any level of Bonten already proves to me how capable one can be; However, don't let that make you think you can be caught slacking. I'm expecting great things from you, Y/I (Your Initial)."
