Cir says calmly, “There is no need for Phu to go there.”

“What?” Nalin asks, confused.

Cir turns to smile at Phu and says, “There is no need for Phu to come find me there, because I will be the one to come find Phu.”

Both girls squeal that this. “So cute,” Nalin sighs.

A blushing Phu pushes P’Cir towards the door, “I think you should go to class now; you don’t want to be late.”

Cir refuses to move for a minute, “Call me when you’re done, and I’ll come to pick you up.” He says this as if he is afraid someone will steal his boyfriend if he hesitates for only a moment.

“P’Cir,” Phu whines, blushing.

“Alright I am going.” Cir says.

“P’Cir, can I walk with you? I am heading to the faculty too.” Nalin asks. She is the only one of Phu’s friend group that attends a different faculty.

Cir sighs at this but nods that it’s alright if she walks with him.

Once they are far enough from Phu and Tee, Cir asks, “Do you have something to say to me?”

Nalin looks surprised at this, “You knew?”

“That you purposely waited so you could walk with me when your year doesn’t have a class at this time? It wasn’t hard to guess.” Cir says.

“I want to ask you something.” Nalin admits.

“What is it?” Cir asks her.

“Do you love my friend?” Nalin’s voice is serious for once. “You aren’t just playing with him, right?”

“Of course.” He wonders what brought on this topic of conversation.

“Good, please take good care of my friend then.” Nalin says, then falls silent.

“I’m already doing that. Is there a particular reason why you asked?” Cir wonders.

“It’s just that Saturday night we were at this coffee shop. There was a girl there, and she claimed to be your fiancée.” Nalin frowns at the memory. “She’s not, is she?”

Cir isn’t about to go into his family affairs with this girl, he only says, “No, and if you are still worried, Phu knows about her as well, you can ask him.”

Nalin lets out a sigh of relief. “I didn’t think it was true, but I wanted to make sure. I care about Phu.”

Cir turns to stare at Nalin with cold eyes and she quickly says, “Phu is my friend, and I care about him…as a friend.” She finishes awkwardly.

“Just you remember that.” Cir tells her.

He is surprised when Nalin gives him a sunny smile. “You really do care for Phu. You have his friends’ support.”

Neither of them notices the girl jealously watching them. Lukprea frowns thinking first there was that omega and now this girl. Why is everyone trying to take her P’Cir away from her? P’Cir had belonged to her since they were children, and no one was going to take him from her. Only Lukprea deserves to stand by P’Cir’s side.
