"You're gonna love this, I swear!" Carmen said, nudging his friend as they walked towards an unidentifiable building.

Yaz gave him an annoyed look, as if he wasn't reminded of how "good it would be" for the past 20 minutes, in the car and then walking from the parking lot.

He could tell his friend was excited but damn, did he have to talk about it every second of every day, up until the big trip? Probably the worst thing about this entire thing was that he still refused to tell Yaz what the big surprise even was.

Carmen, a large, muscular, Maine Coon cat with orange fur and pale yellow eyes, smiled again. "I've been here plenty of times and I just can't keep myself from coming back." He said with a laugh.

Yaz squinted at him. He himself was a much shorter, ragdoll with blue and white fur. While many would say otherwise they were actually his natural colors, his eyes shining an electric blue. The way the large feline said that sentence made Yaz pause though, and he scrunched his nose. "It almost sounds like you're trying to justify something."

Carmen blushed red. "I don't have to justify anything." He said defensively, but phrasing it like a joke and trying to act much less embarrassed than he actually was.

"Yeah.. okay. How far is this place anyway?" He asked, giving his friend another long look.

They walked for a long while and Carmen hummed, gearing up for a sentence with a grumble before he stopped. "Aaaaaand we're here." He said.

Carmen gave Yaz a cheeky smile and stopped in his tracks. He pointed to a door next to him that seemed unassuming as they walked towards the large building, but upon seeing it, the big glowing signs of men and women, their scant clothing and spread legs, it was a wonder Yaz hadn't seen it.

"It has a concealment spell on it. Very high class, it's not one of those low brow places." He said, still defensively might he add.

Yaz furrowed his brows, his tail flicking back and forth in annoyance. Low brow, high brow, why did it matter when he was standing in front of a fucking strip club. "You did not just make me sit in a car for an hour and walk a mile, just so you could bring me to a fucking strip club." Yaz said annoyedly, and very justified in doing so.

Carmen chuckled. "It was only half a mile, and it's not a strip club, it's a sex club."

"That's not any better, Carmen!"

The large feline raised his hands defensively. "Please! C'mon just trust me, man. It's a good place, a lot better than the other places I've been. I would argue this is the best place."

Yaz groaned. It wasn't the fact that he'd been brought to a sex club, it wasn't the fact that he'd had to wait so long to get here and likely wouldn't be able to leave without Carmen anyway. It was the implication of why Carmen had brought him at all.

"Did you do this because of Ben? I told you I'm fine, I'm over him now, you don't have to do this to help me get over some asshole." Yaz said.

Carmen paused for a small moment, thinking of his answer. "No, I just thought you needed some dick. You've been so uptight lately. The best part about this place is that they have such a wide variety of options!" He said, practically grazing over the question, and so effortlessly too. Yaz may have even gone along with it if Carmen hadn't been so adamant on trying to help him get over his most recent ex, Ben.
