Your POV:
The hospital is having a New Year's party and you're so excited. You love parties but you were never the college party type person so you only went to friends and family's birthday parties. You're also excited because you got a new dress and heels just for the party and you can't wait to see Neils reaction to it. You wake up to the smell of breakfast and smile. You use the bathroom then go into the kitchen to see Neil at the stove shirtless cooking breakfast. God damn he's sexy. You could get used to this. Your heart flutters as you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with this man. He is everything you've ever wanted in a partner and more. You sneak up behind him and wrap your arms around his waist.
"Good morning gorgeous." He says before turning around to give you a kiss.
"Good morning sexy I could get used to this sight every morning." You say giggling.
He chuckles.
"Good, because you're not getting rid of me now. You're stuck with me." He says.
You talk while he finishes up breakfast then he plates the food and puts the plates on the table. You sit down and talk as you eat then when you're done eating you do the dishes since he cooked. Once the dishes are done you collapse on the couch next to him.
"So we can relax for a while until the party. We already got the champagne they asked us to bring so we have plenty of time." You say.
The hospital is catering the food so they asked everyone to bring some type of alcohol. 
"Yeah we just have to account for the uber time." He says.
You and Neil are taking an Uber there and back home so you can enjoy yourselves, and it seems like everyone else is too or getting someone to drop them off and pick them up.
You snuggle up with Neil and watch tv until lunch time where you make a light lunch. You and Neil eat then keep watching tv until about an hour and a half before the party. You take a shower and start to get ready then Neil gets in the shower after you. You do your hair and makeup and put on your new dress and shoes. You also put some jewelry on and spray some of Neil's favorite perfume on yourself.
Once you're ready you head out into the living room where Neil is sitting on the couch already ready in his suit and tie. He looks so damn good your mouth waters. You can't wait to take it off of him later. He turns to you and his jaw drops.
"Holy shit. You look.... Incredible." He says.
You blush at his words.
"Thank you, and you look handsome as hell." You say.
He looks you up and down and bites his lip.
"God damn I'm a lucky man. I love that dress on you but I can't wait to take it off later." He says.
You giggle.
"I was thinking the same about your suit." You say.
He laughs.
"Thanks baby. Are you excited?" He asks.
"I'm so excited I can't wait to dance with you." You say.
"Me neither it'll be a lot of fun babe." He says.
You grab your purse and Neil grabs his wallet and keys and orders the Uber. You wait outside and talk until it gets there. Neil confirms it's the right car then opens the door for you and gets in after you.
Once you're both buckled the Uber driver starts driving. It's not long before you're pulling up at the hospital. Neil thanks the driver then gets out and opens the door for you before shutting it. He then rates the driver and you both head inside. You go to where the party is. The decorations are awesome and you're surprised how many people there are. You and Neil grab a drink then start mingling with everyone. You know pretty much everyone but whoever you don't know Neil introduces you too. It's so exciting because you're officially coming out as a couple tonight. Your favorite song suddenly plays and you squeal and drag Neil to the dance floor.
You start dancing playfully and Neil follows your lead. You laugh and dance with him shaking your butt at him. After that song is over a slow song comes on. You wrap your arms around Neil's neck and he wraps his arms around your waist and you sway to the music together. It's really romantic and you're impressed with how good of a dancer he is. After dancing for a while you're starting to get hungry which is perfect because the food just arrived. You and Neil each grab a plate and find a seat at the table together. You're seated next to Neil's best friend at the hospital and you all talk and laugh as you eat. 
"You having fun?" Neil asks.
You nod.
"So much fun, how about you?" You ask.
"Yeah me too. Normally I'm bored out of my mind at these things but I have to go since I'm a resident. But having you here has made it so much fun." He says.
Your heart flutters at his sweet words.
"Awww thanks baby I always have fun with you." You say.
"Same here and it helps that I also have a gorgeous woman on my arm." He says with a smirk.
You giggle.
After you're done eating you dance some more and talk to more people, and before you know it you're both several drinks in and it's almost midnight.
About ten minutes before midnight everyone gathers around. The boss thanks everyone for coming and wishes everyone a happy new year and passes out confetti poppers and party horns. The last 10 minutes go quickly and soon you're counting down to midnight. As the clock strikes midnight everyone  kisses their partners or hugs their friends. You give Neil a passionate kiss. After everyone says their goodbyes they all filter out and Neil orders you another Uber. You can't wait to get back home, because with every drink you had the more you couldn't wait to get that suit off of him.
